WEEKLY UPDATE: 04/19/2018
https://t.me/officialhtmlcoin

Dear Community,

Several of you have asked us to disclose our agenda of the team's latest meetings. Below you can find the main points that have been discussed during our last General Meeting.

1. Thursday Talk
Our core team has decided to conduct Thursday Talks twice a month (once every two weeks). We will ask our community supporters to prepare their questions and concerns from a preselected topic before the Thursday Talk schedule. We can either choose a topic or the community can help choose a topic for us. For example, we will monitor our social media platform of possible topics to address. We will post the topic ahead of schedule, and the community can submit their questions to an online form. The questions and answers will not be published until the live event. However, supporters will be informed of the topic beforehand. The community will be able to chat with the team on the Official Htmlcoin Telegram channel while the Thursday Talk is conducted. No impromptu questions will be allowed. There will be a moderator for the Thursday Talk to organize the talking points and to address the most frequently asked questions.

2. Exchange Updates
We have also discussed the latest developments about exchanges. Our CEO, Amando, has assigned tasks to the team members to follow-up with every exchange application that was submitted. We also discussed applying to new exchanges. We will update our community and our exchange webpage (www.htmlcoin.com/exchanges) when we have a confirmed listing date.

3. Organizational Chart
In a couple of days, we will have our team members posted on our website. We recently hired a few more members that will be added in the next few weeks. Notable hire is a new Data Architect that will help us with our current projects. We also hired a new marketing agency that consists of 27 members to support our marketing and design initiatives. Details of the partnership will be updated on the website in a couple of days.

4. Updates of Smart Contracts and Token Creations
A few assignments were assigned to additional team members to help facilitate the progress of the project. It is currently being worked on and we should be able to see the progress.

5. Gaming Platform Development
Another meeting with a newly hired developer is to be scheduled tomorrow to work on the gaming project. The gaming platform serves educational purposes.

6. Plug-in Project
We will be using our partner's resources to help us complete this project. Our partner has access to developers who will help expedite the development process.

7. Brazilian projects
Our newly hired Data Architect will be helping us with two of our ongoing Brazilian projects, (one of which is Geoblock ; a reforestation process using drones) Two teams are currently working on them. Both teams will be visible on our team page when it is released.

8. Updates in Social Media
After last week, we updated our social media administration and updated our rules. Please welcome Mary as our new admin! We have a new policy regarding banning and unbanning. A new form was released a couple days ago for those who wish to be reinstated as community members in Htmlcoin Telegram. We have also discussed our public social media perception as a team. We will work more diligently in helping Htmlcoin’s public image.

9. Legal Disclaimer and Investment Policy
We once again identify ourselves as a Software Company, and not an ICO or a financial institution in any way. We cannot in any way give any financial advice or speculate about HTML trading price. A new Investment Policy and best practices letter is to be released and will be posted on our website.

10. Our Online Workplace
We have discussed which website and application the team will use to store files and monitor progress of assigned tasks. This is being done to maximize our team's efficiency, and to record project status. Software recommendations and policies have been made, and will be migrating to a new platform soon.

11. Marketing Agency
As mentioned earlier, a USA based, 27-person digital marketing agency has signed a 3-month partnership contract with the HTMLCOIN Foundation.  The partnership's success will be measured by predefined KPIs (key performance indicators) that must meet or exceed our goals. If goals are met, we will renegotiate our contract for an extension. They will be helping us with social media posts, blogs, increased SEO/SEM rankings, animations, branding, web development and landing pages just to name a few.

12. Partner's Announcement
Soon, Htmlcoin and one of our partners will release a post on our social media platforms about our partnership.

13. Other Topics
Other topics have been discussed and will update you when we see results. The Htmlcoin Foundation has been determined more than ever before to be as transparent as possible, and to involve all its supporters. We are working harder than ever and are confident the fruits of our labor will come to fruition. From now on, we will share our progress only when you can see results! We should not be judged on the things we cannot control, like Apple rejecting our iOS wallet, but we will deliver on our promises. Now more than ever, we will march together hand in hand with our team, partners, advisors, and community supporters to bring Htmlcoin Foundation to the World!

Dear Htmlcoin Community,

Our company is not an ICO. We are a blockchain company that is designed to revolutionize the world with probable use-case projects in the works and in the pipeline. The Htmlcoin has been in business for more than 4 years promoting our blockchain technology to developers worldwide. We are committed to our mission and vision as we have always been. Because we are a growing company, Htmlcoin will continue to adapt to meet the ever changing needs of the emerging technology, known as blockchain.

We are in the process of hiring an outside Marketing  agency to help manage our social media, marketing and digital needs. Our foundation realizes our limitations and will be outsourcing some of the talent who will be partnering with us from a well established marketing agency that can help manage our online presence and to help identify weaknesses in our marketing strategy. The company we select will also assist Htmlcoin Foundation in furthering our brand throughout the world. Htmlcoin will have more resources than ever before and will have a far better global reach.

The Htmlcoin committee members and the CEO, Amando, will be evaluating every member of our core team. Members who do not meet the needs, goals, and culture of the Foundation are free to resign or will be asked to resign from their post. The organizational chart that was released on Thursday was an informal, impromptu org-chart, a draft. But because the community insisted that we release our core team members, we decided to show the identity of the professionals working in the Foundation. It was a way to prove to the community that well-qualified, professionals were indeed working hard to build the Htmlcoin community. The org-chart shows similarly how Htmlcoin has been operating hierarchically as a company. However, the hierarchy is not finalized and has been changing as it continues to change as we adapt to Htmlcoin’s community needs.

As we continue to transition through the restructuring phase, we may limit the amount of time our social media channel is open to protect the best interests of the community and of Htmlcoin Foundation. We hope it does not happen, but a few members and or former colleagues may try to vent their frustration to the community. We will kindly ask them to stay professional and refrain from posting as we continue to evaluate members. We may also moderate members for disrupting the community. We will ask our loyal community members the best times available for them to attend the social media channel if it is not open 24/7. In time, we may decide to return back to opening our community chat to 24/7 access. But for now, It is  simply not feasible to continue to monitor and/or ban people on a 24/7 basis - all the while watching our brand diminish because of a few, unsavory remarks that continues to harm our brand-identity.

All in all, The Htmlcoin leadership team would like to thank each and every one of you who have joined us since 4 years ago. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email Htmlcoin at
[email protected].

Sincerely,
Htmlcoin Team

Forward, Together, Forward!

Dear HTMLCOIN Community,

Our community is just like any other community -- differences exist. In our case, it's the organizational differences.

This is normal and something we should all embrace. However, we should not allow our differences to be a stumbling block in achieving our goal in developing our HTML blockchain as a community.

Our community is strong because we are diverse and composed of different people around the world, which makes us one big family.

Mission Statement

As of now, nothing has changed in our Mission and Vision as stated in our White Paper. Our team will continue to develop our projects as stated in the White Paper. In fact, as part of our restructuring and reorganization, it is integral that we invite more experts in software development to finish the stated projects as reflected in our roadmaps and pipelines.

This restructuring and reorganization is a phase every organization can’t shy away from. It should be seen positively because this will enable us to recruit more talented individuals around the globe to help us develop our software offerings. Remember, the Htmlcoin is just one of the many products that we are developing now. We will continue to develop more products in our blockchain. We encourage outside developers to create new tools and projects that will benefit our community. To do this, we will set aside a budget to help encourage talented developers to join our community.

Social Media Management

The recent chaos has been caused by negative misinformation which resulted in fear, uncertainty, and doubt (FUD) among our community members. To mitigate this, we will continue to monitor our social media outlets and make reasonable adjustments necessary to make sure it will not create unnecessary anxiety for future and current community members.

Coingather Funds

The forking of CoinGather was in line in with the fiduciary spirit. The CoinGather funds will be handed to a 3rd party entity to secure the coins in the near future. This has caused many controversies. One of the concerns is that it creates an extra supply. But this is not the case because the old wallet sent to CoinGather is frozen and cannot be spent. Hence, not able to enter into circulation. In essence, nothing was added.

Another concern is that our blockchain was compromised because of the forking. Nothing has been compromised so far as Peter Bushnell, our Executive Vice-President for Technology can attest.

The Global Family

Once an Htmlcoin member, always an Htmlcoin member. That being said, we are a global family. Yes, differences will exist in such a large and global community as ours. But, in reality, it is our diversity that actually makes us stronger! We should respect our diversity and celebrate it! For now, the most important thing to do is to regroup and move together as a strong and unified Htmlcoin community.

In the past week, there have been some exchanging of words among the teams that should not have happened publicly. We are all humans and prone to errors. Emotions were involved and feelings were hurt. This is part of our human experience and things such as this need to be handled privately within the team. Such negative and public exchanging of communication differences have the potential to shake the very core of our community. I am personally disappointed for what happened, especially all the unnecessary fear, anxiety, and stress caused to the community.

I would like to make a reconciliatory statement among teams, that is --- As an Htmlcoin community, we need to regroup and pick up the pieces together. To do this, we will collaborate to find common ground. By moving forward, we will have to burn old bridges and build newer and better ones.

I ask our community members to reach out to us ([email protected]) and to ask what they can do to help heal the community. By becoming proactive members, we will recover from this brief setback more quickly. The community’s support is an integral part of the solution. Healing will create momentum for a more positive future in the community.

Healing Process

To start the healing process, we will implement some changes to how we do things as a community. That is the way we hire new talents, appropriating funds for projects, and project management.

As part of the rebuilding process, Simon Telfer is rejoining the team as Technical Advisor for Technology and Business Development. He will help formulate Technology and Business strategies in the community. Ilir Tahiri is also joining, he is a veteran in the community and will help with project management. Antony is also joining the marketing team to help create more responsive content. We will hire more people and will seek professional help in finding the best talents to join us. From this day forward, everyone that is hired will be introduced formally to the community and the community will get a chance to meet and know them.

Another equally important matter is that we will publicize our projects, including the ones in the roadmaps and timelines for community members to prioritize. After we, as a community decide what projects we will undertake, we will then start promoting them throughout the community. We have several project developers wanting to develop in our blockchain, waiting for the team’s approval.

Developers seeking to develop in our blockchain and in our community will then present their project to the community for comments. We will also include projected budgets for transparency.

Ongoing Initiatives

HTML will not be deviating from their existing plans to launch a new website, a mobile IOS and Android wallet and being listed on more and larger exchanges. We are being listed on HITBTC, Kucoin, and others that will be announced when further details are available. Anyone advertising otherwise is not privy to the inner workings of our organizations and is purely sharing speculation.

POMA

The POMA team is also doing a wonderful job in developing the POMA software package. We are allocating a budget for this, together with the new talents joining us to help it develop more. This will make our community even stronger and bigger in its software offerings.

I would like to thank POMA team members for their hard work. I am disappointed to see some of our members leave the HTMLCOIN team -- new talents are joining the team which will enable us to add more products and services, develop the potential of our blockchain technology and focuses on what is best for the community.

Forward, Together, Forward!

HTMLCOIN Changed My Life!
Bitcoin Talk user id: Caliber

Background

I am from a small town in the Southeast corner of the United States. With no traffic lights and about 1,600 people, my hometown is about as rural as you can get. But what it lacks in size, it makes up for in beauty. With rolling hills, majestic mountains, and peaceful streams and rivers, it is a wonderful place to call home, and an equally wonderful place for my wife and me to raise our son and daughter.

Things haven’t always been easy for me though. I was born with a major disability and my mom was told that I only had a limited amount of time on this planet. As a result, I grew up with my mom worriedly watching over me. She held me back from sports, which drove me crazy as I loved being competitive. I used to sneak away every chance I got to play any game I could. Eventually, to help distract me from the playground and playing field, my mom bought me my first computer. It was a Commodore 64. After that I became hooked, and I spent the rest of my teens learning everything I could about computers.

Has your previous work helped spark your interest in cryptocurrency?
Absolutely, being born with a major disability, I found many things difficult while growing up. Eventually, I dropped out of school because… well, who wouldn’t after being told by doctors that you only have a small amount of time to live. My thinking at the time was “why waste what little time I had on something I would never use.” But thankfully, as I got older, I stopped listening to the doctors and decided that I was going to live. That is when my love of computers, instilled into me by my Commodore 64, fully took over. I went back to school to attain my GED and further pursued study in the computer field, getting A+ certified and taking college courses online in Information Technology.

Soon after, I became interested in Bitcoin, and began trying to mine sha-256. It was tough at first, and when I went looking for help, I soon figured out there was NO ONE in my local area or, for the most part, online that was able to help me out. This was the beginning of the crypto evolution and not many knew much about cryptocurrency, let alone how to mine it. So, I made it my mission to figure it out on my own.

I started watching sites called Altcoin Calendar and Bitcoin Talk for information, which included the latest coin releases. One day I saw that a coin called HTML was being released. I downloaded the wallet and started reading online how the coin worked. I discovered that I could type in a simple command in the debug window and start mining directly to my computer with the wallet miner. I did just that, and after a few minutes, I had hit my first block. I was shocked at how easy it was. I was HOOKED! I then showed my daughter how to do it and she became as enthralled with it all as I was.

During this first period of mining, I decided to order a couple of gridseed 5s off of eBay. Yep, it was very small, but I really didn’t know how everything worked at the time. I was literally just starting out in the cryptocurrency world. From there, my daughter and I mined a ton of HTMLCOIN. Now, here we are in 2017, ready for a big change in HTMLCOIN, and excited about what could happen and where this coin could go!

What was your “aha” moment?
When I hit my first block, I was totally hooked. I fell in love with the whole cryptocurrency scene at that moment.

How did you find HTMLCOIN?
Well, as I said earlier, I started looking at all the upcoming coins on Altcoin Calendar and Bitcoin Talk, and stumbled across this one.

The coin excited me, so I taught my kids about mining and tried to inform all the people around me, both on and off-line. I told as many people as I could about crypto mining and particularly this coin, but to no avail for most. You have to know where I live, most people still don’t believe me, even now in 2017, when I tell them about Bitcoin or any other crypto-currency. They think I am crazy…lol.

How might HTMLCOIN change people’s lives? Has it impacted you in any way?
Since I became a part of the HTMLCOIN community, it seems almost everyone from the HTMLCOIN site, to the people on Bitcoin Talk, or anywhere else that I communicate with regarding HTMLCOIN, are nothing but really good people—helpful, friendly, and Informative.

I love the idea of HTMLCOIN being able to help average people like myself. Being someone with a lifelong disability, it is nice to know that there is a coin that has my best interests at heart. This is the one thing that really has me sold on HTMLCOIN and the one thing that could make it one of the best coins in the crypto world. HTMLCOIN is about helping and connecting people, and I like that!

HTMLCOIN even saved my family’s home from foreclosure. A few weeks back when HTMLCOIN had a huge couple of days, I sold some of my coins and earned enough money to save my home. I will be forever grateful to HTMLCOIN because of this. This coin, no matter what happens from here, has truly been a blessing for my family. It has changed my life. Thank you HTMLCOIN from the bottom of my heart.

If you really want a community driven, down to earth coin that can change your life for the better, HTMLCOIN is the one for you. 10 out of 10 for sure!!!

HTMLCOIN is not an ICO

By Simon Telfer
AEVP Business Development and Innovation
The Htmlcoin Foundation

With recent discussion and market response to the announcements on the status of ICO’s (Initial Coin Offerings) in the People’s Republic of China The Htmlcoin Foundation would like to clarify that the Htmlcoin swap process we are currently undertaking does not constitute an ICO.

It is important to us that we respect the various regulations around the globe, and we take very seriously the adoption of our smart contract and decentralised application technology within the spirit of self-regulation which is evolving across our industry. The swap process we are planning to undertake this month (September 16, 2017 to October 15, 2017) gives our global community the most accessible, best value and fairest way of moving from the old to new Htmlcoin asset.

Many thanks for your continued support!

Dear Htmlcoin Community,

With 2017 coming to a close, I wanted to take a moment to send out a special message to our entire community.

As I reflect upon this past year, I look at all the challenges we faced and overcame. When problems arose, we banded together and tirelessly sought out solutions that not only solved the problems at hand, but made both Htmlcoin and our community stronger. We adapted and moved forward, beating all odds along the way.  We persevered.

Since our launch in early 2014, we have evolved from a basic cryptocurrency to a blockchain platform with the ability to handle smart contracts, Dapps, and much more.  Our evolution from a singular cryptocurrency focus to that of a multi-faceted [Suspicious link removed]munity has been deliberate as we strive to be responsive and relevant to the current state of the new global blockchain phenomenon.

Now, as I look toward  2018, I believe that we will emerge as a leader in this new competitive cryptocurrency and blockchain world economy. Why?--because of our amazing community and our ability to adapt. Anyone can launch a cryptocurrency, but not everyone has the positive and unflinching massive community support that we have, not to mention the dedicated professionals from all sectors of the cyrptocurrency and business space that are committed to developing and promoting our coin and blockchain worldwide.  We are poised to make a difference!

So, as we all move forward this next year, let's have a look at where we have been and how much we have accomplished. Let's revel in what we have overcome and allow ourselves a pat on our own backs. But more than anything, let's allow ourselves to become excited with what we, as a community, have built and the potentials we have created.  Hard work is still ahead of us, but it will be exciting and the possibilities are endless. The Htmlcoin community is a special one, and together, we will do special things in 2018. Here's to exciting times ahead!

Happy New Year to all!

All the best,

HTMLCOIN: The “Little Guy” that isn’t Giving Up

By Rich Chambers, B.A., M.A.
Director of Publications
The Htmlcoin Foundation

1. Background

I live on the east coast of the United States. I am a family man. I suppose you could call cryptocurrency a hobby, a small one mind you, but still a hobby that I am interested in.

2. Has your previous work helped spark your interest in cryptocurrency?

My old boss (back in 2013) was very into Bitcoin and, to a lesser degree, Litecoin and Dogecoin. When he talked about all of this stuff, I was clueless. Still, his interest in it, and his constant quoting of the price of bitcoin, was enough to at least pique my interest.

3. When was the, "ah-ha," moment for you?

It was less of an “ah-ha” moment and more of a "wow, this stuff is everywhere" moment. I realized pretty quickly that everybody was making their own coins. I also realized that I had no idea how to acquire these coins. I didn’t have any of the required software or hardware to make it work. So, I quickly learned about mining and pools, and started using available desktops (legally, don't worry) to start mining scrypt coins.

If I had to be totally honest, as a dabbler in this stuff, it still mystifies me. At the most basic level, I understand the block-chain to be a "public ledger" of private payments. I don't know if it has changed the world yet, but it surely isn't going away any time soon. If we suggest that BTC is the "proof of concept" for all this, then that's one hell of a concept--$4000+ for one coin.

4. How do you think Crypto-currency will benefit people?

It will benefit people in a couple ways. Firstly, it decentralizes currency. I can pay a person in China and there's no "Well, how much is that in their currency?" taking place. No calculations are necessary. It is worth the same everywhere. Secondly, there's almost no limit. I don't mean in regard to the number of coins, but to the possibilities. All it will take to make HTMLCOIN valuable is for people to simply accept that it is. If you sell stuff and charge HTMLCOIN for it, you clearly think it's valuable. In turn, if I hold or have the coin, I probably think the same. You can set the price; I can pay it. As with almost any market, the people will decide. In this case, the product is the currency itself.

5. How did you find HTMLCOIN?

HTMLCOIN was literally just on the list of "new scrypt coins" that I saw one day on the Bitcoin Talk forums a few years ago. By the time I found it, I had already purchased a few dualminer USB dongles that were churning out 70kh/s. They were supposed to do the sha-256 algorithm, but I could never get that to work. Alas, I digress. Still, with a handful of these USB miners and the desktops still doing their thing, I was getting 1-2 million HTMLCOINS per day. It didn’t matter to me if they were ever going to be worth anything. I just liked seeing the big numbers…lol.

I initially joined the community at large because I was interested in seeing opinions of the coin. Back in the early days, they weren't very flattering, but that was to be expected amidst the endless "hey, here's a new coin that will ultimately go bust” attitudes.

6. Are you a miner or trader with of HTMLCOIN?

My early mining days were almost comical. I was amassing so many coins. But here is where HTMLCOIN was a huge benefit for me. Because it was so easy to acquire and people were literally “giving” it away, I had no fear trading it in large quantities for other coins (namely Dogecoin). It didn't matter, millions more were coming. I could get Dogecoin and then buy back some more HTMLCOIN at a much lower cost. Essentially, I was trading back and forth and increasing quantities of both coins. All the while, I was learning more about the cryptocurrency market and HTMLCOIN.

7. Which do you find most inspiring about HTMLCOIN?

Honestly, the community is what I find to be the most inspiring aspect of HTMLCOIN. In order for a cryptocoin to thrive, there has to be an enthusiastic community. If there aren't people behind it, it will die. I have watched this happen to so many coins that had so many initial cheerleaders but no true community commitment. Watching the HTMLCOIN community never give up on the coin, and working to continually improve it, might be one for the books. :-)

8. How might HTMLCOIN change people's lives?

If HTMLCOIN ever hits even 1¢ in USD, some people might find themselves "accidental millionaires."

9. Any additional thoughts you want to express to the HTMLCOIN community and to the world?

I have been a supporter of HTMLCOIN since I first discovered it. Amando has been quite the promoter of this coin since the beginning. I have always felt like he has been nothing but sincere in his push for the coin. And honestly, if he was not sincere, the coin would have disappeared in 2014 or 2015. But here we are in the latter half of 2017.The coin is still here and trading at the best price I've seen. I'm not going anywhere.

Keep doing what you're doing HTMLCOIN. Keep defying the odds and all your detractors. I think it's refreshing to see that the "little guy" isn't giving up.

HTML... what? HTMLCoin!

By simplexletalis

You may have heard of HTML coin in the past. It was popular around the time of Ethereum's launch and made headway up until June of 2017 when a 51% attack occurred and the coin suffered a large drop in price. Since then, the price hovered in the 1-2 sat range until recently.

Now, HTMLCoin is seeing a major come back. It surged 400% late august and appears to have no boundaries or limits. HTML's Dev has been active and ready to answer questions on their slack, basecamp and through various other means. I have been in contact with him myself and can tell the dedication to reviving this coin is real.

Soon, HTML coin will be undergoing what is called a "Coin Swap." This is a process where coins are transferred from one block-chain to the newly developed pre-mined chain. Don't worry, the exchanges will be in charge of this process and as long as you store your coins on one of them, you will automatically be funded with the new coins.

So what's the point of a coin swap?

The community has spoken and it wants HTMLCoin to be bigger, better and faster. It wants a coin that can tackle the obstacles of various coins all in one. That is what is happening now. Amando Boncales has his work cut out for him, but he is recruiting the best of the best to begin creating a development team, support team and marketing team to push this coin to the top of the list.

If you want to get in on the ground level of a huge breakout, now's the time.

The new HTML coin will feature various improvements which can all be found on their website at http://HTMLcoin.com. Some of the main focuses however are:

NEOSCRYPT to help maintain security and protect users and miners alike.
Smart Contracts to make use applications on the blockchain.
A complex EVM system that will provide the grounds for amazing developers to port applications/contracts/computing to the blockchain.
With HTMLCoin previously being up to 155 sats, pushing that far again would make millionaires among the community. I know I will be there, hopefully you will join us on this fantastic and exciting ride.
