FREE] 101 Blockchain Excellence Course | with Althash and Paxful

Africa Blockchain University (ABU) is collaborating with Althash and Paxful to run a FREE online Blockchain 101 courses for young people across Africa. We are also targeting anyone who cares to discover and learn about Blockchain Technologies and its inherent abilities.

The initiative is to create an avenue for people to learn about new opportunities during the COVID19 lockdown. We expect people, especially the youth, to take advantage of this to expand their knowledge and identify new opportunities in the evolving 4th Industrial Revolution.

In the next six months, we intend to enroll 2500 people to learn the basics of Blockchain Technology and its use cases. The duration of the course is two weeks and the application is on a rolling basis.

Althash’s Healthychain to participate in Covid-19 challenge

Vale, one of the biggest mining companies in the world will provide up to USD 1 million, in collaboration with Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and the Mater Dei Health Network, to scale solutions to combat COVID-19 in the following thematic areas: Risk prevention and tracking, Screening and Diagnosis, Monitoring of Spread and Monitoring of Patients and Intensive Care. In addition to these, there is also the “Open Challenge” category, which encompasses other themes.
Companies, startups, institutions, universities and even professionals who have solutions to ensure greater access for the population can participate. The solutions must have the necessary maturity to be implemented within 15 days (counting from the approval) and must be of low or zero cost to the end user.
Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and the Mater Dei Health Network play an important role in the medical-scientific leadership in defining the challenges, the technical evaluation criteria of the proposals received and in the eventual support to entrepreneurs and innovators in the health area who will receive support to accelerate solutions.
The Htmlcoin Foundation, through its development arm in Brazil — Token Tower Cutting-edge Blockchain Solutions, are aware of the importance and urgency that the situation demands and will be participating in this selection process with the Healthychain project. This will encompass not only real-time tracking of disease but also bringing an innovative approach to validating detection thus avoiding false reports and unnecessary alerts. Through advanced proliferation calculations, we can map possible impacts and provide valuable data to assist authorities in making decisions to control and combat Covid-19. It is important to mention here that Althash Platform already has similar project plans which relates to the monitoring of Dengue fever in a localised area of the Philippines.

HTMLCOIN at Coffee Hackaton in Brazil :

The Innovation Network for Agribusiness of the National Rural Learning Service (Senar) promoted between the 20th and 22nd the Hackathon AgroUp at the International Coffee Week, at Expominas, in Belo Horizonte (MG). The event was held by Senar AgroUp, Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of the State of Minas Gerais (Faemg), through the Antonio Ernesto de Salvo Institute (Inaes), and Sebrae, and will work the technological needs of the coffee production chain pointed out by farmers in the region.

In groups of four to five people, registered professionals had 72 hours in a marathon day and night to find solutions that were tested by producers, cooperatives and industry representatives. HTMLCoin was present on the "Grão Forte" team developing solutions for coffee traceability and origin certification using the HTMLCoin Althash platform. The team has achieved important matches with major producers and technology companies linked to the sector.

"Our expectation was to serve the rural producer with auditable and incorruptible solutions for all coffee production tracking. With an increasingly demanding market, Blockchain certifications will be a trend in the sector. Although the first place was awarded to the team that developed a digital bank for the coffee grower, we consider the possibility of new contracts with producers using our platform an important victory.
