I don't see any option to change the deposit address, which is needed to make sure the new owner can log on and I can't.
Why does that matter? The account is view-only unless you have the private key for the payout address.

yes but he can log in again and change it again...
How?

=squeak=

edit: to change withdrawal address, you have to sign something using your address (as I understand the procedure). once the withdrawal address is changed to whoever the account is being sold to, then changes made to the account from that point, can only be done by signing with the new address.

You understand correctly. Utilizing message signing with btc addresses basically eliminates the repossession of an account. I say basically, because there are always holes in systems, if not in the software, then in the person.
I appreciate that you react to my post, but it isn't getting any more clear for me. I will explain again what I want to do and what is unclear to me:
An account consists of:
- Deposit address --> to log in to the account on Pyramining.com
- Payout address --> to which the rewards are paid
Now I sell my account to another person. To do this, both addresses need to be changed, as I see it:
- Deposit address --> A deposit addres he only knows (so he can log on and I cannot anymore)
- Payout address --> His payout address (so he gets payments)

Now in my account details, I only see an option to
1. Change the payout address (by signing a message)
2. Sell the account to Pyramining (by signing a message)

I don't see any option to change the deposit address, which is needed to make sure the new owner can log on and I can't.

I'm probably missing something obvious. I'm not an expert, which is one of the reasons I want to get out. It would be great if someone could explain it and help me to transfer the account to another person.

Edit: I think I figured it out.
To change payout address, I sign message with old payout address. Then only the owner of the new payout address can change it by signing, so I can't do that anymore. Being able to log on doesn't make any difference.
That's how it is?

Current situation:
Log in: deposit address
Payout: payout address

So after changing the payout address, the new log in address is the new payout address instead of the deposit address it was before that?

New situation:
Log in: new payout address
Payout: new payout address

That is how I understand your comment, but I haven't heard this before and it isn't mentioned anywhere as far as I've seen.
No, I don't think the deposit/login address ever changes. It has no reason to.

You can't change the deposit address... that belongs to the account you're selling.

If you're selling it to Pyramining, that's what the sell link is for.

For selling to a 3rd party, you just accept payment for it yourself, and change the withdrawal address to his address.

I'm selling my account to a 3rd party. Do I still need to contact pyramining to change the deposit address to transfer the account?

I looked through the thread history and found a comment in which pyramining said he would look into implementing this, but I can't see it has been.

Its right there inside your account info. I have used it several times and it works like a charm.
That is a tool for selling it to Pyramining right? And a tool for changing the payout address only? As I said I want to sell to a 3rd party and for that I want to change the deposit address aswell, because that is the means to log on.
Or am I blind that I don't see it?

You can buy my account if you want to. PM me for more Information.

As I told earlier, I want to look inside before buying. If you trust me just sent me your username and password(after changing). Then I will look and will think about buying. Wink But I know you won't! Roll Eyes If you find a trustworthy user, I will give him 0.03502692 BTC as escrow, it will be released to you if I ran away with the account or something like that. If your Pyra account worth more than that + if you don't trust me, this will probably be not a good idea. Roll Eyes It's upto you. Smiley

Can anybody PM me your pyramining referral link? I want to look how it is. Smiley

Are you trolling? Or honestly ignorant of the way pyramining is setup? You don't need or get user/pass you get assigned a btc deposit address for your account, you can login with that address to check on things. Its setup as a view only, if you need to change the payout address, you sign a message with the existing payout address.

Thanks! I didn't know how it is setup. I haven't joined the site, so I want look how it is. That's why I asked referral link, so I can join and look how it is and if it is good, then investing some BTC there.

P.S. I looked now! Can anybody give me an address so I can check inside? I tried with mine but it isn't coming, so I think only deposited address can be used to open. Roll Eyes

Here is the deposit address for an account I setup for a friend. 1EtFN3tP1B14CJrVBnfCWUyLHGsL2pHisk

It'd be bad if those amounts were coming through every day, but once a week (or longer) is not going to work.   My last payout was 10 months ago, and this is a 100BTC deposit.

Time to think of some more ideas to actually make this viable again Wink

We are all in the same boat. ALL cloud mining operations are being affected by the low price. He is/has brought on 30+ths of new hardware. When the btc price rebounds, payouts will start coming more frequently again.

Something to keep in mind, hashnest.com which is owned/operated by bitmaintech has fees in the 50% range right now.
