Your account was most likely compromised.
Use different passwords for all your pools, there have been scammer pools that grab your user/password and steal your coins from other pools.

I had my payment address empty for 1 day and no problems just added one and cashed out just fine.
The pool is legit. He has been making other coin pools and keeping them running w/ no problems.
