yeah blockchain.info takes way too much fee to send btc. also they take again so much fee to convert btc to eth. i have some small amount in there but i cant transfer to any exchance sites because of high fee.
That is really effecting the image of bitcoin. Actually people find it har to use bitcoin for small purchasing because some time the cast price is less than the transaction fee which in fact make people dishearted, Specially purchasing daily use items. The increasing transaction compel people to convert their bitcoin in to local currency and then use it for purchasing their daily needs, i think the transaction fee should be reasonable so that people can easily accord even for purchasing small items.

Even i am now feedup of the high transaction fees and even we can see a warning on blockchain about the record increase in traffic on the blockchain network affecting a lot in the miner fees and confirmation time. This should be resolved soon as high fees and daily transactions are causing huge looses. To transfer 100$ near about the fees is 0.00082 which is equivalent to 15$ and that is too high for me.
That is only high if you convert bitcoin into dollars.Remember why bitcoin was made ? To replace dollars and create "anonymous transactions".May come off as a joke but this is what the modern commercial, greedy, civilisation has turned bitcoin into.A quick money making scheme and it's doing wonders.

hey guys
whats goin on with blockchain.info. there is Huge fee calculation on trasfer

it asking 0.00354522 BTC fee for transferin 0.02BTC  !

Things are really getting out of control with these outrageous fees that is being changed but blockchain themselves are saying that they are not in change of the fees at all. You can wait for sometime and try to accelerate the transaction later.

Does Blockchain.info offer custom fees when you broadcast a transaction? If so then just set it lower to reduce your fee, assuming you can wait the extra time for it to confirm. If they don’t offer a custom fee you ‘could’ import your private key into Electrum (or several other wallets) and send a transaction with a lower fee (if it’s worth all the hassle), or migrate entirely to Electrum or Greenaddress that way you can take advantage of SegWit.

Otherwise there’s really nothing you can do, the network is congested as more people create more transactions and nobody seems to want to update to SegWit (with a couple of exceptions).
Yeah Blockchain.info offers custom fee and you can set it before you make a transaction but nowadays transaction fee is quite high that even the lowest fee isn't affordable. Electrum is better option but not much because there isn't any big difference in fee due to the overloading of transactions over the network.

Just lower that fee from custom fee and than put your transaction in one of the tx accelerator and wait for some mining pool to include your transaction.

Also it is recommend fee rather than fee set by blockchain.info, you can check that by going through this site https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/

For a small transaction with only one input and output recommended fee is over 90,400 satoshis which will increase if you have received those 0.02 btc in different smaller transactions.

Allot of bitcoin wallet and exchanges are taking huge fees these
days because of the price of bitcoin going up the chart.
I'm facing a huge problem as well with Cex.io wallet fees and minimum per withdraw.
It has nothing to do with the exchanges or the online wallets. The network is super congested and miners want to make money hence the insane high fees. You know a lot of population is investing at the moment, bitcoin hasn't been as commercial as it is in the last few weeks.
I can't wait for the day when bitcoin users will end up paying a lot more money as transaction fees than  any of the existing online wallets like Tez/Paypal.
I totally think it's time to switch..and it hurts.

It hurts to see the little transactions (Under $100) get so affected, but that's part of how it all works. If nobody updates, it'll remain climbing until eventually it will have to be resolved. BTC's had long problems with scaling, but at least it's doing better than before

I still don't get how theirs been no improvements to the issue with dust causing high fees, that and the fact that the network as a wholes fees are breaking people that have low value wallets, the fees are just so much higher at the moment than any other chain, because while the value of btc has gone up the btc fees are in btc so the USD value of them is really high if you look at it that way.

And while ya sending a 1m$ transaction for 20$ is great, sending a 100$ transaction for 20$ isn't great.
Exactly sir or miss, you just complete my day with your post. The bitcoin fees or too high
I cant believe these online merchant wallet and exchange wont lower the price in fees, they are banking with our paid fees. Undecided
This issue is getting big and needs to be solved quickly.

I was also using the blockchain wallet for long time but certain time after fees increased there and I have moved to electrum and  coinbase wallet. It so convenient and fees also little cheaper other wallets in online.
Even you will find the some amount stagnated in every wallet dude. That is the reason I have avoided on that.

how can i find my transaction size ? whats that
it do not allow me to lowerin manually
It can be found after you sent the amount to the receiver. And as you use blockchain.info there's a way to adjust the fee on it, you can press the customize fee.
And there is still a recommended customized fee there and you can't go under it.

What is the size of the transaction? There is a possibility that your coins contains a lot of dust and therefore the size is much bigger than expected. You can use this website to calculate the minimum fee required:

https://bitcoinfees.earn.com

Right now, it takes a fee of around 400 Sat/Byte for instant confirmation. If you are ready to wait for a few hours, then you can manually lower the transaction fee in blockchain.info.
