Think about this what would happen to humans if they met an alien species here on Earth.
1. Aliens are most probably predator like us.
2. For aliens to reach Earth they would have very advance technology like traveling at light speed or creating wormhole. Very hard special metal for their spaceships or special barrier.

I think humans have met aliens and they call them gods.
If they are more advanced than us, then they will just try to wipe us out. Think about in history when explorers like Columbus found new lands. They dominated the less advanced cultures, enslaved them, and killed them. That's what would happen to us.
