I predict a temporary network difficulty drop caused by power outages due to hurricane Sandy.

My house is about 20 miles south of the tracked eye of the storm.  So far we are getting some steady high winds, tons of rain but no power outages.

I stocked up on milk, bread, toilet paper, Ding Dongs, Mountain Dew, beer, vodka, rum, Doritos, steaks, and more beer.  We ate the steaks last night and now I am running low on beer.  :-)

I have about 6 inches of water standing in the back yard.  The sump pump is cycling every 30 seconds.  The mining rigs are still purring for now.

most of the upper east coast has been put on lockdown or evac.
I feel for those in DC and PA that're going to get this head on.

Their saying it's supose to hit PA by Monday or Tuesday. I think all we'll get out of it is flash flooding, and power outages.
It'll be 2010 all over again since last year it was a snow storm people were worried about.

Who assembled the official list of hurricane names? Does anyone else find the name "Sandy" a bit weak for what is also being referred to as "Frankenstorm"?
