Norton è ben noto per essere un rompicoglioni. Zio

I know even apologize, but if you have an idea you do not write PM, then told him to be careful because you are a beginner, bla,bla...

This guy can be right. I've got a PM from him. He is not a scammer, he just wants to help (though you still should be alerted and not modify your wallet files without an advice). It seems that you have had some problems with Norton before?

Try to install the wallet on a system with no blocking software.

This is one of my preferred cryptos. It is one of the best you can buy to stacke.
As a PoS cryptocurrency it has a big stacking percentage that really makes it a good investment.

Can someone explain "staking" like i'm 5 , and what's the best block size??
PS: I've read about staking and still i cant really understand the basic idea

Lets imagine that your neighbour asked you to help him to clean out algae in his pond. You buy a special kind of fish, Hypostomus plecostomus, and put it in the pond. After some time your neighbour gets a clean pond and you get fish offsprings you can sell along with their parents to someone else for a profit. A clean pond is the network security, and Hypostomus plecostomus offsprings are the stakes. And your neighbour is a PoS coin.

Holy shit ian that is the best analogy I've read yet!

Thanx Smiley

Okay thanks, and what's the recommended HYP block size? is 7000 too much?

It depends on your balance and your patience. If you are planning a long-term investment, then it's better to use smaller blocks (1000-3000 HYP), because the average return can be slightly bigger due to some peculiarities of the staking formula. But you'll need to wait up to few months until the first stake if your balance is small (which means you have a small number of blocks). Too small blocks can cause a big dispersion, i.e. you will get stakes irregularly even if you have a big number of blocks (but your average return will be still slightly bigger than system-wide median), which can be quite upsetting. But if you want an almost immediate return, even 7000 is too small now.

Thanks!

Open your wallet, go to Debug -> Console and type in the command line:

addnode 23.88.59.245 add

Don't close the wallet for at least half a day.

You can always use an online staking wallet.

Yet there is no syncs, but do not understand why my wallet is gone down, I 304k Hyp, and I recevied in 1k for stakes.

I would say the easiest way to understand it is as a dividend payment on a stock.  The min stake time is the time it takes to get the interest and the stake rate is the interest rate (usually annually).
