An argument outside the context and the last arguments but I would like to know why a project like this should be kept low? What is the true purpose of this project? When I started in the crypto one of the first coins I thought of investing was this and now I have doubts about investing. Yet can we consider technical adjustments necessary to strengthen the structure of the currency? Do these updates affect the currency?

Can I ask you a question, just to clarify, what exactly makes you feel doubt?

Hello!
I downloaded the wallet file for Windows, but the antivirus has deleted it!

http://prntscr.com/k0cgux

https://www.virustotal.com/ru/file/2e0642b88c13b8103454917419adffdd08ab76299bdd2ac6d5e9d24cb09335f4/analysis/1530183695/

28 viruses!
I've never seen so much before!

With the purses of other coins, there were no such problems.

How to be?

It's an old story. It was reported many times here as a false positive, probably some part of the code (like CPU mining) is still recognized as a malware by antiviruses. Try to compile on a separate Linux box from source if you can, or use an isolated virtual machine.

I copied my data folder straight from my XP box to Linux.
When you sync up from scratch try using "connect=" option to get you connected to a seed node this will save you processing orphanes.

Changed port=9999.

Running behind 2nd router.

Would you be able to test syncing from scratch and see if it will fully sync under ubuntu?
I was able to get to 100K before I was forced to reboot system, not enough memory.
How far did you get syncing ?
Maybe you can upload complete chain and I will see what happens on my Linux box ?

It´s not working for me even if I´ve blocked all the incoming traffic. Still going to miss most of the transactions as "unconfirmed". I think the last option is to re-do the staking? Now with larger block size per block (current 16K per block)...?
So you got a confirmed block. That means your config is working in general. The confirmation is independent of the blocksize. Maybe your device is very slow? In that case others may get a block confirmed before your block is confirmed. Be sure to have a lot of connections to the HyperStake network. Add all the nodes listed on http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/HYP/nodes.php to your config file. I don't need to block any HYP traffic.

I have added
maxconnections=100
to my config file and have 99 connections active.

@joef Thanks for the answer. stupid question - where do I find my .conf file (I got Mac). Was not able to find it from my Hyperstake-folder. There I´ve only .dat and .log files ...besides the bootstrap-file...

The HyperStake.conf is not automatically created, You'll need to create one in the same directory as the wallet.dat if you need it.

OK - makes sense.
Newbie question: Could someone give me an example of how their .conf file looks like?
Should I add only this phrase "maxconnections=100" OR do I need to follow some kind of command guidance?

The only thing I ever have to add occasionally is nodes, not much else, but you can goto to the console and type in help for a list of available options.

Here is my "generic" conf file, should work for most QTWallets out there.

Hyperstake.conf

Code:
logtimestamps=1
upnp=0
irc=0
dnsseed=0
testnet=0
onlynet=IPv4
listen=1
#bind=
#externalip=
#port=
maxconnections=100
rescan=0

server=0
rpcuser=abc
rpcpassword=123
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
#rpcport=

NOTE :
-When an option is not needed simply add "#" to biginning of line.

I'm going to add a note on the HYP Cypto-city page for Exchanges that they should stick with HYP v1.1.3 as it is the most stable and reliable version instead of later versions.
Can users downgrade from newer versions ?

Yes. You'll just need to delete everything in the appdata hyperstake folder except the wallet.dat and then resync. As always. Make backups before doing anything. If you're not having issues, I'd leave it alone.
What issues have been reported ?

Only issue I'm seeing so far is v1.1.5.1 not completely syncing in Ubuntu, but others have reported no issue in other OS'

Runs ok on my box with Ubuntu 16.04 LTS.
But maybe I am just lucky.
type in getinfo in your console and see what it says and paste it here.

Code:
{
"version" : "v1.1.5.1",
"protocolversion" : 72001,
"walletversion" : 60000,
"balance" :
"newmint" : 0.00000000,
"stake" : 0.00000000,
"blocks" : 1398163,
"moneysupply" : 1259673902.72347593,
"connections" : 15,
"proxy" : "",
"ip" :
"difficulty" : 286.98677706,
"testnet" : false,
"keypoololdest" : 1462469647,
"keypoolsize" : 101,
"paytxfee" : 0.00000000,
"staking status" : "Staking Active",
"lock state" : "Wallet Unlocked for Minting Only",
"unlocked_until" : 0,
"errors" : ""
}

Thanks. Trying to track down the potential issues. What process did you used to sync? (bootstrap, blockchain snapshot, from the beginning from the network).

Did you added anything to the conf file?

Also are you running it behind a secondary router or straight from the modem?
