wtf just happened total supply just went from 365million to 900 million?

Why don't you read before asking...

For some reason coin market cap's API was querying bad data, or was stuck or something (my block explorer has always correctly labelled the market cap). I sent a request for them to update it yesterday, and looks like they got it working.

The HYP supply grows linearly, thus inflation continues to ramp down as time goes on.

So you saying total circulating supply is 1 billion?

I am going to hire a friend to make an info graphic that will be a getting started guide for any news users coming in. I will have it cover downloading the wallet, bootstrapping, funding the wallet, splitting coins correctly to stake with, stake settings, etc. Hopefully it can help detail the advanced functionality of HyperStake's wallet, and show off what is in my opinion there very best set of tools to stake with that exist.

Enough time to accumulate before the magical revival...lol following pivx's path with the long flat chart then the super 1000x pump...seems legit.

One has to wonder how many these revivals/devs will still be here after this bull run ends...

Excited to see PressTab from PIVX here in HYP.  I will be picking up some cheap coins later today, and look forward to development updates when available and maybe a slack channel?

I don't think you will be getting cheap coins anytime soon, looks as though the party is just getting started now  Cool

$400,000 USD marketcap VS PIVX $83,000,000.... 207x higher in price, same tech shortly, same dev, older more trusted coin, bigger future  Cool i'm buying all the HYP i can.

Yeah, I guess I need to be a little quicker on the draw next time.  Still "cheap" though all things considered.  Plenty of legs to go here with this coin coming back.

I made a few small tweaks to make HYP a bit more efficient. Hoping to continue making some basic efficiency changes in order to make HyperStake even more user friendly and easy to interact with for users.

7ee0cb8 - The startup process was not using each block's databased hash and instead rehashing every block in the blockchain loading sequence. When the block headers are hashed in X11, this really takes some extra time. This reduced my blockchain load time from 83 seconds to 18 seconds.

e1895f6 , aa86ef5 - Refactor the code that grabs the wallet's total stake weight and reports it in the GUI. Instead of iterating through each coin held in the wallet and calculating the stake weight (which can be a burden for very large wallets), store the calculation of coin weight that is done during the staking process. Essentially this just makes it so the wallet doesn't do the same set of calculations twice if it can avoid it.

Excellent. This will hopefully lighten the load a bit. Smiley

Also I put in a request to coin market cap, they had a way outdated supply # which left HYP's market cap about half its actual value. Looks like they have it updated and working again http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hyperstake/

Really sad to hear about David. Fantastic guy that added so much to the community. His finger prints are all over this coin (and others) but I personally saw the work he put in to Hyperstake and he contributed so much it's hard to express. He was infectiously positive and proactive.

He made some great calls in Crypto generally that lead me down some paths that I would have never followed otherwise that has been of benefit to me to this day.

It's plain to anyone who looks into this coin the work he put in and we all reap the benefits of it.

This gives me yet another reason, not that I needed one, to never sell my stake. My laptop will be purring away confirming Hyperstake transactions forever.

I'm really cut up to hear this. RIP David Latapie.

is there a working website of this coin?

No there is not. The cofounder of HyperStake, David Latapie, owned HyperStake.com. David has passed away  Cry  I think he gave me co-ownership of the domain through a website, I will have to dig through the archives and look. If not HyperStake.io could be sexy.

That could be one of the first uses of the multi-sig address I am setting up for community development tasks. I am far from a webdeveloper.
WTF !
David has passed away ?
Very sad news especially thinking about all crap he had to deal with and the hard work he put in some projects...
 Sad

Yes very sad. David was a super honest and intelligent guy, great person to partner with on projects. He is definitely missed. His HYP address will always be there on the richlist as a reminder of the work he put into HYP.

I didn't know David, but it's good to see that his work is not forgotten and seeing the community coming together to support and shaping the future of crypto is why we are all in this. Each one of us contributing in our own way to make a difference in an imperfect world. It's up to us to make the future shine. For all of us and those that come after us. Smiley

Is there a slack channel for HYP available? If no, we should have one...

Crypto-city has a similar (among other) functions in the "groups" section which you can make public/private/hidden and create threads for various topics etc....

Have not bought at 4 Satoshis, but now... This coin is way undervalued.

Right now we are only at about $0.60 USD per stake (~750 HYP each stake).

Hi Guys, since 4 weeks i´m thinking about buying this coin, because the tech spces are not bad. Have not bought at 4 Satoshis, but now... This coin is way undervalued.
Good tech, good dev and if  dev implement features from PIVX like ZeroCoin Protocol... Wow this would be very very great and the coin would have a very great future! For Sure! Keep up your good work presstab!

We had one a long time ago, I will see if I can get an auto invite set up to it, I don't remember if I have admin privileges on it or if it was David that does.

For zerocoin, that is something the community as a whole will need to decide on. I looked into the code and we do in fact have the same block miner signalling that bitcoin does. So for any hard forks (zerocoin) that would need to be decided by the majority of stakers. I am very open to the idea, but would first need to watch it on PIVX and make sure it works well.
