If you found out about Bitcoin when it was at $60k then I'd say you're too late to invest. Since you already knew about Bitcoin, you should know about Bitcoin and investing in advance. If you had known about investments beforehand, then you would not have needed any investment advice after so long.

If you get $100 from your father every month, that's enough to invest. You will only spend fifty percent of your hand spending money and the remaining fifty percent of money you will invest in regular bitcoins every month. If you continue to invest at $50, after a few years you will see your investment accumulate a lot of money.

Investing small or big first you need to make sure how much you know about investing. You should invest only after gaining adequate understanding about investments.

I receive about $100 a month from my dad. I am planning to use them to buy some bitcoin.
Please give me an advice to be successful Bitcoin investor in the future.

If $100 from your father is net money that you can invest, then you can buy Bitcoin gradually every month. But if it has to interfere with your other finances, meaning you will have other needs that might use that money, then you have to manage your finances first. It is important to know the appropriate amount that you can invest gradually. Just be consistent, if your ability is $30, then do it regularly every month, and you will see that your Bitcoin accumulation is quite good in the future.

It's difficult to give advice to the OP because he didn't specify whether the $100 was pocket money or money he used for monthly expenses.  if that is all the money he has to use for his daily needs then he should not invest in bitcoin with that amount.  but if it's pocket money, he can invest it in bitcoin instead of using it to spend on other useless things.  but he needs to know one thing, bitcoin is a long-term investment, not an investment to get rich quickly, so he needs to have full knowledge before investing, don't invest with a get-rich-quick mindset.

Do not listen to people saying you will lose money, there is no way you can lose money investing in Bitcoin
Op can lose their coins if they do not know what they are doing, i don't think op understands much about BTC and it is worth mentioning to newbies that BTC is not a risk-free investment. Op has to understand what they are doing, if not they can easily lose their coins to scammers. BTC doesn't also give profit immediately, so if op isn't patient, they can sell their coins at a loss and lose a part of their money.

Bitcoin is a high-return but high-risk investment, with no guarantee that those who invest in it will not lose money. Profit or loss is for investors like us to decide, bitcoin does not help us with that. Investing without knowledge and without trust in bitcoin will inevitably lead to losing money. It would be bad advice to just blindly encourage others to invest in bitcoin without advising them to do some research before investing. Newbies need knowledge and should not rush to invest in bitcoin to pay the price.

Well I know some parents are so caring that even after giving their children money for pocket money, this won't be the end of it, one way or the other you will still get some money from them, talking from past relationship with my parent while growing up, so yes you could be able to invest all that money into Bitcoin, but if I were you I won't invest all, there might be hard times waiting where you won't get anything else from your parent.

Having some money is different from having none, in your case it's better to invest some money in Bitcoin and always have some saved for yourself, it's not like you won't need the money at all, because pocket money is for things you will need, why not keep thirty percent on you for this purpose?

Do not listen to people saying you will lose money, there is no way you can lose money investing in Bitcoin, make sure you keep your recovery seed safe and keep investing gradually per month, you still have some few months to go before next bull market begins.

My best advice to you is not to buy when the price is high... just buy low and sell high. A lot of people will buy say $50 of bitcoins every month and that would be fine, but at what price are they buying?

I would buy a small amount of bitcoins every month, say $30 and save $20 worth of cash to buy when there are a dip in the price. Use $50 on your self, because I think your Dad gave it to you for a reason... not just to buy bitcoins.  Wink

Ah I see an opporutnity here. If you are getting 100 buck a month then its amazing, just buy that much worth Bitcoin and save it in your wallet. See, 100 bucks is tiny amount as compared whole bitcoin but that's not the point here. You should be focusing on the long period of holding. You are just 19 and its the plus point for you. Think about 10 years from now  and by the time you turn your 30's you will have miraculous profits at your ends. However, don't forget that with the time your life phases will change so you will need money to survive, you may end up selling your Bitcoin for the situations like those that you would be saving form today. But you should be avoiding that and create another savings fund for different phases. If you keep that end of the deal then no one is keeping you from earning loads of profits. Bitcoin may not promise similar ratio of profit that it did since 2009 dill last ATH, but it is definitely going to be significant. Moreover, everyone knows about it to their hearts but only few of them are successful in holding entire bitcoins in their wallet. Those who hold, gets the best of this world.

If you're hesitant to invest in Bitcoin, it's important to carefully consider your options and do your research before making any decisions. You might want to explore other altcoins that could provide a better return on investment or consider diversifying your portfolio by investing in various cryptocurrencies.

However, since the money you're planning to invest is not your hard-earned money, it might be a good idea to invest in developing your skills and abilities. This could include taking online courses, learning new languages, or creating a specific skill set that could help you earn more money. By investing in your skills and abilities, you'll be better equipped to achieve a higher income and make more informed decisions about how to invest your money. And when you do start investing your own money, you'll be in a stronger position to make smart, strategic investments that will help you achieve your financial goals.

After graduating high school, I saw bitcoin on youtube. At that time, it was about 60,000 dollar.
I had some research about Bitcoin. I specially watched videos of Michael Saylor. For me, he sounded very logical.
I checked the price, and I could see that Bitcoin is up 45950334.26% since 2009. I thought I am very late to start invest to Bitcoin, but many people said it is early. So.. I am really confused. I receive about $100 a month from my dad. I am planning to use them to buy some bitcoin.

If that 100 dollars is for your allowance , and you can only spend a little then of course you can invest the remaining in bitcoin since that money is just coming from your parents and you have nothing to lose.

Even though it's not OP's money, it's also the money his parents gave him to cover his studies and living expenses, so it can't be said that he has nothing to lose. It is also money and is made from the sweat and tears of his parents. He should consider carefully before making the final decision.

better start investing now or be late next year.
the price now is still cheap till second month of 2024 so be ware , you have at least 4-5 months to invest so take that advantage.

You should not give such investment advice to newbies. Your advice makes bitcoin more of a speculation than a real investment. Why does he only have a few months left to invest in bitcoin? Are you talking about halving? What if we don't have any bull season after the halving? What evidence do you have to assure OP that bull season will definitely come after halving? Bitcoin is a long-term investment, don't invest in it just because of the halving event, that is not the ultimate goal of bitcoin.

100 dollar is for personal use. I can use it to anything I want. I use father's credit card for my expenses.

It's good to see you thinking about investing in bitcoin at your young age. It's actually commendable and I will recommend our upcoming youths to start thinking like this because it break the tie of dependent and reliance on another person. However, for the fact that you're still very young, it's important for you to know how bitcoin works before thinking of investing. I hope you are aware that you may lose the whole $100 if care is not taken. I have no idea how well you understand how bitcoin works but I can still tell you that you have long way to go and I will not advice you to invest the whole $100 in bitcoin at this your stage.

It's better to start small for now. When you're starting out, it's a good idea to start with a small amount of money. By doing that, you can get a feel for how investing works without putting all of your money at risk considering how risk bitcoin can be. Starting small also gives you the opportunity to make mistakes and learn from them without losing too much money. With this, if the $100 is on a monthly basis, I would advise you to be investing $30 every month and with time you can increase it.

Note: this is not a financial advice, do your own research as this is my personal opinion.

He wants to spend all of them to buy Bitcoin. I think he's still studying and that's his allowance for his school, food, etc.
OP don't make it look like Bitcoin is a bad thing for investing all of it because it will make you like as an irresponsible student and son.
I'm just saying that invest what you can afford to slash from that $100 monthly that your pops is giving you.

Is said $100 allowance or your dad just gives it to you in addition to another source every month? I reckon it wouldn't be that bad if you DCA (can look it up if you want) if you're unsure, just don't expect anything big, especially in the next few months, maybe a year/s even. Doesn't mean that it's a bad investment though, The strategy itself takes a long time before it makes profit anyway. In that span of time you can take your time studying the market and crypto in general so you'd have a better idea of things, plus maybe even expand on your portfolio.
maybe that is solely for His extra allowance , because he just said being receiving per month and not mentioning
to be His allowance or what.I think that if he will put big part of 100$ in bitcoin then he will be waiting for a success in
the near halving season , 1st quarter of 2024 to be specific .

Since you are attracted to this currency by watching videos about Bitcoin. But I think there are many types of videos that will tell you to invest and watching them can definitely make you lose. That's why I will tell you that since you came to this forum there are various places where bitcoin is discussed, read and know them and you will be well experienced. Since you spend $100 per month from your father, it would be better if you save this money and save a bigger fund. When your fund is big at some point when you invest bitcoins with this money you will get a good fraction of the bitcoins. And if you want to make profit in future then must hold for long period but it will give you good profit. Moreover you will know about market volatility and all then invest it will be better for you and not risky. I would suggest you to read and know about investing well before investing in Bitcoin and plan for long term.

Your interest in Bitcoin is good, but I think you should also continue your studies and pay more attention to your studies. Looking at the price of Bitcoin in 2009, we can safely say that the investment of Bitcoin at that time cannot be compared to the current investment, because there is a huge difference between the price of Bitcoin in 2009 and the current price. You should understand the ups and downs of crypto market, try to know about bear and bull season.

However, the bear season is still going on and the price at which Bitcoin is trading, investing here can prove to be very profitable for the future. Don't confuse yourself at all, but start investing in Bitcoin if you receive $100 a month. Next year is the Bitcoin halving, and after the halving it still takes some time to get into the bull season, so you can invest. Considering the price of Bitcoin, investing $100 per month may seem like a small amount, but  it can be considered a good investment for the future.

Is said $100 allowance or your dad just gives it to you in addition to another source every month?
I believe it's the monthly allowance provided by a parent to their child who isn't yet working. After completing high school, the typical path leads to university. This means that the $100 covers their food and leisure expenses for one month, usually excluding tuition costs. CMIIW.

I agree with your statement that when buying Bitcoin, one should not expect substantial profits in the short term. Remember that everyone needs a considerable amount of time to reap profits because the process is not easy. Learning about crypto while practicing DCA is the best approach until OP can stand on your own and expand your crypto portfolio with earnings from your job. At least, with more funds, OP have clear goals and a basic knowledge of Bitcoin investment. This way, the journey with Bitcoin can become more seasoned and experienced.
I also think so, $100 was given by his father for his additional needs apart from necessities such as food or other basic expenses.
I think $100 is free money that you can use as you like without any other more important needs.

And indeed in investing in Bitcoin there are many things that need to be learned, especially being able to get rid of greedy thinking in order to get big profits, but I think the first step taken by the OP who wants to invest with money that is not used for other purposes is quite profitable. great to be able to control many things in the future.
We will never know for a long time or not, but in investing what is most needed is the process, if people have gone through the process then I am sure it will not betray the results.

op Your father gives you $100 per month and you have to spend from there on what you need to spend. You first see how much you spend per month out of 100 dollars, how many dollars you have left after your expenses, and you have to invest with the dollars that you have left. You can invest bitcoins with your own spending money. In the case of Bitcoin investment, you need to invest time and understand. When investing in bitcoins you generally don't just expect to make a profit, you have to understand that there is some risk involved and you have to invest with that risk. One day you will be successful if you invest carefully.

You are early in the sense that there is still many people left yet to adopt bitcoin and bitcoin is still not used on our everyday lives in the same way that we use fiat, however if you are expecting the same kind of growth that we saw during those days you are in fact late, as even if bitcoin is going to continue to grow as the demand for it increases, its growth is not going to be as fast as it was back then,
This makes more sense because Bitcoin is no longer in its infancy. In its early days, back in 2009, a price increase from $1 to $2 meant a 100% gain. However, the current value of Bitcoin has reached $29k, which means it would require a $29k increase, or precisely $58k, to achieve a 100% gain. Bitcoin's growth is similar to the past, but the percentage increase in its price is not as substantial as before.

Reconsider the pocket money you should be using for things that bring you joy. It's true that Bitcoin could still reach $100k or even $1 million, but thinking logically about this new all-time high doesn't seem as straightforward as it used to be. It might reach that point, but the time required may not be as quick as before.

Invest your money in Bitcoin with slightly lower expectations.

It is true that bitcoin's profits are getting smaller or it will take longer to reach the goal we want. But there is one difference compared to the early years of bitcoin, which is that the safety level of bitcoin has increased significantly, investing in bitcoin today is much safer than in the early period of 2009-2010. Furthermore, if we compare investments like gold, real estate, stocks and bitcoin, btc is still the investment that gives better returns in a shorter period of time. Therefore, choosing bitcoin should still be prioritized over other investments.
