I've been into sports betting for quite a while, but times like these are pretty tough. Even though I've experienced this before, it still keeps coming back like feeling a bit emotional, losing focus, and sometimes gambling more than I should. Anyway, have you had the same experience? How do you convince yourself to move on and still enjoy gambling?
I totally feel you! It's normal to go through ups and downs in sports betting. I've been there too, and it can be tough to shake off emotions. For me, taking a step back, reassessing my strategy, and setting realistic expectations helps. Also, reminding myself that it's okay to lose and that it's just part of the game. What works for you? Do you have any tips for staying level-headed and enjoying the ride?

Losing is never been enjoyable and pretty sure that everyone had been able to experience this stuff on having that losing streaks even if they had already been that dealing up with sports betting. We do know that when it comes into this matter on which at the time that you will be experiencing these streaks then you would be thinking that there's something wrong into your betting specially on sports but of course we do know that whether you do deal up with betting or casino games, there's no assurance that you can make money or sure win in 100%. This is why it will really be that just that right that you do really know that on the time or moment that you will be having these loses then you should really be that moving on.

Dont make yourself that being too impulsive because on the time that you will be having that kind of reaction then you will definitely be having that kind of approach. Outcomes will really be basing up into the moment that you are really that making up some bad decisions. This is where you do really needed up to consider on how you should be dealing up with these loses and as long you are really that making use of the amount on which you can afford to lose then there would really be no issues. On the moment or time that you will be having that kind of impulsiveness then this is where issues will be starting up to show up.

1 week straight losing and no win? Nahh, I haven’t experienced it before. The highest losing streak I can recall is probably like four days straight and a fated that I took some time off gambling and didn’t make any deposit for some time till I was sure I was in a good mood before going back.

If I had gone back that time to continue my gambling activities I’m sure some weird emotions would have kicked in and before I know what’s happening I’ll start to think about how to get back all that I have lost during that past days and that my friend is what we call “chasing after losses”.

I’ll advice that you just take a day or week off gambling and just focus on irl stuff and clear your head from the losing streak you experienced and then go back and try to make the lowest deposit that the casino or bookie and go for the best game you think will come out well and make sure you don’t chase profit at that point in time because all you want to do at that point is to make sure you win that game so your losing streak will end.  Afterwards you can continue your game normally.

Yesterday I made a lot of bets and lost more than 90% of my bets, but I was not sad because I used money that I can afford to lose and also because when I made a bet I put it in my head that I would accept any result, so when I make a bet I accept that I will have a greater chance of losing. I make bets for fun and I think that everyone should make bets for fun and not create high expectations about sports betting.

Even though I convince myself to move on, that will not easy for me because of my losses. However, I still enjoy gambling but I am not gambling for excessively as before because I know how it feels the losses.
I think we all have the days that we lost huge amount of money while gambling but we just have to let go. We still live and we have gained that we should not gamble excessively or with high amount of money. That has been a lesson that I also learned. But all the money that I have lost has gone and I do not think about it anymore. I stop gambling if I lose more money now. I can even stop gambling for weeks if not months.

Time to go big mate, remember the gambling rules, you can't always win and you can't always lose. So, the money shot should be close.

If we talk about sport betting, we must understand how are you betting, because if you are making 10 games parlays then it will be hard to win, you should try to bet on single events, and make tons of bets.

Is fun but if you analyze the parlays they usually lose by 1 or 2 games, so, if you would place those bets on single tickets, then you would end with profit, a small one, but profit.

Take a break - it’s not helping anymore if you’re feeling down. Pushing through in that state might lead to bad decisions that could make things worse. This usually happens when we’re not just playing for fun. When we take it too seriously, we’re not only risking money but also investing our ego. A loss, even a temporary one, can feel like a failure.

I’m glad you are not ashamed sharing this.

Don’t worry, we’re here for you. Just listen to your “family” here in Bitcointalk, and we’ll help you through it.

Yes, but not for a week. That was only for a few days and then I stop gamble for a while. Yes, that makes us a bit emotional for us losing that money and we want to get the money back. But unfortunately, we can get the money easily as gambling will not let us for that.

Even though I convince myself to move on, that will not easy for me because of my losses. However, I still enjoy gambling but I am not gambling for excessively as before because I know how it feels the losses.

Maybe it's worth quitting gambling? It's just that this is an activity where everyone becomes equal to others in skills in terms of chances of profit and this is bad. Each of us is good at something, and you need to be able to use it and, of course, make money this way. Someone can draw, someone sings, someone dances, and someone welds iron together. Everyone needs it and gets paid. Therefore, I advise you to remember what you can do that no one else around you can do. Gambling is simply something that is easy and fun. But there are no guarantees of success there.

Stop. Take a break. That is the best remedy for a losing streak. Engaging in some non-gambling activity would reset the losing streak that is if you are doing every thing right. The time I had an experience of this, this was what I did. I alternated my gambling- one week on and one week off. I mean some days in the week and not all everyday. There is no joy and enjoyment when losing in life and any other thing talk less of gambling. You need a break, take it.

I can't call myself lucky in betting, as I am just getting some experience and have almost nothing to brag about. However, I know a few teams in my country well, and I have sometimes been lucky to make correct predictions in local championship games. Perhaps these rare and small victories do not make me want to play more often, and I do not worry much in case of failure. But I know that every time we wait for the results of games, we start to get nervous, and perhaps because of stress we cannot collect our thoughts in the right direction. If I can add a few cents to all the advice, I would advise you to take a break for a while and rest, do meditation, and set yourself up for the fact that failures are only temporary, but not permanent. Sometimes you need to step back to leap further in the future.

Maybe this situation indicate that you need to take a break. Those situation doesn't give you anything positive return since you are now feeling frustrated with those results you get. Maybe next time when you settle down your emotion then provably that you can do good research and will not do any risky bets especially if you are not familiar with teams you are currently looking.

I didn't experience this since usually I bet on the sports I know or following every day result.

So best to plan your next bet and always look for reference, statistic and team reports before placing your bet since it might increase your chance to win.

How do you convince yourself to move on and still enjoy gambling?
Maybe you need to give yourself a break rather than moving on, continuing to gamble like you are not the one who is on an endless losing streak. If you have crossed your budget is also a notice to give gambling a break until you are in a financial position to continue. If you keep gambling with the losing streak without considering your budget, you will soon cross your budget for gambling (if you have one) without you even knowing.

Gamble responsibly
Betting is not fun while losing. If you are gambling or betting but started to lose than you are expecting, it is better you stop gambling at that time and have time for other things that you enjoy.

What I prefer to do has been not to go more than my gambling budget. I disciplined myself with that and it is helping.
