This is where a partner comes in, you might have a good product but bad packaging in terms of marketing. Hire or collaborate with an experienced individual that can expose the product to the public

A good application requires a lot of resources. This is money and time + experienced professionals. I do not really believe in the development of a good software product in the parent's garage. We live in a different time now. Especially when it comes to financial services.

A hardware wallet with a full node, the question is where you will store all that data, even if you get a 250GB SD in some point the chain will be bigger than that. So that{s a problem.

If the wallet will need an internet connection, then it could connect to a master node and that way handle all your client's addys and transaction from the same node.

That would be wonderful I'm currently on stage 2 of testing and I will post a few diagrams to show the structure of the wallet etc, do you use telegram or have an email? you can inbox me if you'd like

Why you don't post these diagrams here? More people can participate and you will get better feedback from several heads. You never know who can help you to improve your product.

@OP if it wouldn't hurt your bank I think it would be better if you hire a marketing manager and a site developer for your promotional needs for your upcoming product. Since you are clueless on how to promote or show it off in the market it would be better for your if you shell out some cash for some people willing to handle it. Star people whom your trust or is close to you before heading out to freelancers since it would be better for you if you hire someone who you will have an easier time communicating with the project unlike a freelancer where your communication is only limited to the internet.

Woah there, maybe you have misunderstood my post. I'm merely just a member here suggesting you to hire a marketing manager and/or a site developer I'm not either of those two myself but since I'm a business management graduate I'm just suggesting you what you can do as the owner of the product. We do have some campaign managers in this forum but you would just be limiting your exposure in this website or for some in some social media websites so I really suggest that you go for someone that can expose your product on various means.

Use an ethernet cable to always make sure the device is connected to the internet so it's always in sync and then you can access your wallet via 127.0.0.1:8934 or your custom port - you can declare this on setup.

whether it is the only Lan port to connect to your wallet?
So if a user wants to use your wallet, he must have one free LAN port on his PC (I guess it is not possible to connect on mobile devices or etc...). It is not a problem, now almost all devices, computers have more than one network adapters, but people with one LAN port used to be connected on the internet can't use your wallet. it may not be the best solution to go out with hardware limited device.

it will range around $130.00 I want to ask if this is a reasonable price since development cost is around $100 per device.

I am not sure that is enough $30 per device if you plan to invest in marketing, development updates, improvements etc... $100 per device, is it development price, or calculation based on serial produce?

You don't state the name and the type of security implemented that makes it to me a secure hardware. More information is need about the features that will  makes it to be preferable than the one we currently have in the market.

If you want to be really trustworthy use the coldcard / coinkite method. Post the entire BOM that you use to make it along with all the sourcecode.

https://blog.coinkite.com/coldcard-hardware-shared/

This way anyone can audit your work for security holes.

Also, [and this is 100% my opinion] you can no longer be anonymous here.
It's going to be tough to start, but keep in mind as of now, if I built a totally crap wallet and you built the best one in the world I would have a major advantage over you since I am known and trusted and have been face to face with several members of this forum who are also known and trusted. So my crap wallet / service would probably outsell yours.

Stay safe.

Thank you for your feedback! I will look into coldcard and coinkite shortly I will update once I have a working prototype.

I will post some images later this week and I will send out some free wallets to the bitcointallk community to review it Smiley there are two ways I'm doing this either I allow my device to run a full bitcoin node on my device so everyone can really have full control over their coins here is how it will work.

Use an ethernet cable to always make sure the device is connected to the internet so it's always in sync and then you can access your wallet via 127.0.0.1:8934 or your custom port - you can declare this on setup.

once you've logged in 127.0.0.1:8934 you will then be able to manage your addresses and private keys etc.. this is the safest option but this is slightly more costly... it will range around $130.00 I want to ask if this is a reasonable price since development cost is around $100 per device.

once I get a fully tested prototype within the next month I will give out free samples to everyone around 5 devices because that's all I can afford right now I will need to raise around $5,000 - $6,000 after that to start building a lot more devices. What do you guys suggest I don't want to label my company as an ICO.

currently, I'm making it to support bitcoin-only later I can bring out bitcoin cash, etc.

The second option is, I get a domain name and let the device generated bitcoin addresses, private keys, and let users transact via my domain and I will publish an opensource copy of the script on GitHub - but that will feel unsafe for people.

Please let me know your thoughts... what would you prefer ... Pay the little extra premium cost and have your own mini node with a full backend on your localhost or a device that just signs transactions (in my opinion that's not the way it should be)

p.s i'll make a little learning center for the noobs who actually want to explore the bitcoin JSON RPC calls it will be fun to educate people on how bitcoin actually works behind the scenes.

UTXOS, inputs, outputs, script pub keys, and how to manually create transactions, etc.

Thank you all.

Hello,
I am developing a secure hardware wallet solution, can anyone tell how to bring it out to the market I'm talking 2-3 month from now.

Well, you should already have a website by now if you plan launching in 2 weeks.

-What is it name?
-How does it looks?
-How much it costs?
-You need to be in social media: Bitcoin, Reddit, Twitter, at least.
- You can make some advertising in Bitcointalk through a signature campaign, or google ads or something like that.
- You can give some members of bitcoin community some hardware wallets so they can review them for you (bitcointalk members, article writers, news websites, etc)
-Plan to launch press releases.

TL;DR: you need money.

Since people are really having problems in securing their assets using online wallet, this new project about hardware wallet is really a good idea. This is the solution for us who are struggling and getting anxious about using online wallet. As soon as possible, you should give as an update so that we can support you on your project.

Your idea is really essential for those who are having a hard time become comfortable with their coins, can you give us some preview about that? So that we can have prior ideas about you project that can help a lot of bitcoin users. One of the major problem in crypto is getting hacked or scammed, and this is one of the best way to prevent that.

A bit more info would be appreciated. Are you developing a brand-new hardware wallet or is your solution an improvement to an existing brand?
You might want to look into marketing your product. Highlight its features and what improvements it brings compared to the competition. A strong social media and forum presence will surely create some interest. But we still need to know what we are talking about here.

He should really consider this one if he would like to have a fight into this hardware wallet market, if he wont make any difference or stand out feature compared to competitors then expect for this project to fail most likely.

We know that Ledger and Trezor is considered one of the main players in this hardwallet wallet industry.Im not saying this one wont stand a chance but he should really be better with those guys earlier mentioned.

At OP, is there some glimpse of images of it?
