but knowing that FIAT is doomed
turning to decentralisation
buying cheap, hodling

that makes you a true bitcoiner, not just using a wallet Wink

Okay, so I don't "use" bitcoin by sending it. I only "use" BTC by investing it? What the actual fuck type logic is that. I have no idea how I'd go about exchanging USD for GPB, so does that mean I'm not a USD user? Oh, also, I sold my speakers for a slight discount. Does that mean I bought USD at a high value? I also used that USD to buying food.. I didn't hold. Oh noes!

Yeah, so you don't know it very well.
And as I said it isn't necessary to understand it completely in order to use it.

It is very easy to use Bitcoin but not so easy to understand it completely.

You literally said: "That's true Bitcoin is no where near the stage that it's easy to use".
I called you out on that statement. Now you're saying other things.

You NEVER said that it isn't necessary to under bitcoin completely to use it. Actually, you did the opposite. You implied you must know everything about bitcoin before you could use even a bit about it.

The average user doesn't need to know what's all going on in the background of his web wallet. Just like I don't need to know exactly what's going on with my money in the background of paypal to be a paypal user.

See? You can become a bitcoin user without fully understand bitcoin.

Actually, I'm fairly sure you don't understand bitcoin fully, so I guess you aren't a bitcoin user by literally your own logic.

Ugh, I know your most likely trolling, OP, but if it makes you feel better: I was dumb as bricks in fifth grade. I made poor grades, and was pretty lazy. I barely knew my times tables. I only knew 2s, 5s, 10s, and 11s.

However, in Sixth grade that all changed. I don't know how, but I guess a teacher recommended me to one of the best middle schools in the city. And I had to take all Honors courses, meaning, I would've failed HARD if I was lazy.

No sane person have incentives to start a thread like your. You are lying or I don't understand stupidity. I'll continue to look to this thread in case something funny happened (so unlikely...).

yes in fact no one is stupid, but they are lazy to learn.
and my own math problems are also the most lazy when learning math Smiley

and if you love to learn math?

I agree many people are just lazy.  I'll bet what ever the OP is having trouble with could be learned simply by using the internet.  I myself am still trying to wrap my head around this thread and figure out what the point or goal for it is really.  For example I don't know how to code but have been meaning to learn online for free.  I'm not a useless idiot but busy and lazy.  I think the real issue is learning to change our habits.  Wink

Hehe I agree, the fact that he is here with us, in the beginning of bitcoin, makes him pretty smart. Don't forget that only 0.1% of the population know about bitcoins right now. Imagine what will happen when 1% of the population start buying bitcoin. Smiley

Might be good to invest might not....however if you do have some extra cash laying around...I would buy some and hopefully it will go up:)

My school system failed me or my brain just is the way it is and the school system couldn't help me at all.

sad. very depressing.

People that have smarts take it for granted and it pisses me off.

dude you're using bitcoin

therefore you can't be stupid

you just have a weak point Wink

Some of the richest businessmen and politicans never did well in school. You might not be intelligent with some things but clever with others. You do realise that there is a major difference between being intelligent and wise. The clever and wise folk usually have the intelligent academic ones working for them while they play golf over in the country club.

I'm not sure I follow. You think you're stupid because you can't do math and you're blaming everyone else? Not everyone is wired the same way. Personally I'm terrible at math, but I'm an excellent programmer. I know that the reason I struggle with math is because I learn and think differently than most people, so I have to figure out how to put things into a context that I understand. It's far easier for me to understand PHP code than most whitepapers coin devs create. I can create a more cryptographically secure system than banks have by using PHP, but how do those cryptographic primitives like AES actually work? I don't get the math behind it, but I can make it function.

So, you see, I'm a great scientist, but I'm poor at math. To me it just means that I don't actually need those math skills as they serve little purpose in my life's purpose.

That's true Bitcoin is no where near the stage that it's easy to use and understand and it takes a lot of research and brain power to figure it out.

If you think Bitcoin requires "a lot of research and brain power to figure it out", you are stupid.

If you think it is very simple you either don't know it very well (which is fine btw, you don't have to do so even if you use it) or you are really smart.

It takes literally 5 seconds to figure out how to create a web wallet. It takes 2 more seconds to find your receiving address. It takes another 2 seconds to find your sending address.

There you go, that's 90% of end-user bitcoin usage.

Yeah, so you don't know it very well.
And as I said it isn't necessary to understand it completely in order to use it.

It is very easy to use Bitcoin but not so easy to understand it completely.

Welcome to the club! But remember, "vires in numeris"! SO being the majority of human cattle, we, the stupid people, could ingroup and "remove" all the rest. Maybe a new religion to reinforce it all may be necessary, but I'm sure that a bit of anti-intellectualism, something about "judes" and so on, may be all that we need. PM me if you want to take seriously this solution as a mean to increase your future utility. Thanks me later. (Stupid Power!)
