Per my knowledge there are a lot of things going on behind the scene of the project. The project is having difficult time to manage an escrow service however there is a work in progress with an exchange about listing their tokens. Before everything finalize, I am taking my time too.

agreed. maybe it could be done better next time. a PM to potential translators would have been the correct procedure to invite them to join the project.
as it is right now it looks like a fail from the beginning to me.

Either way his behavior is unprofessional.

If we won't get a final response I think the project has cancelled their offer for translations (or scammed  ).

Regardless, would have appreciated if Op was not so over his head where he thought he'd add me to a predetermined list and I'd swoon over to work for him. Me or anyone else on that list.

r1s2g3 messaged me regarding this post and I was kinda taken aback by seeing my name here.

Especially since I haven't applied to work for you.

Normally I do not take on projects that pay in tokens or where the majority payment is done in tokens.

The fact is, working for tokens is a lot like lottery, you either make it or you don't. If it is indeed a serious project like you claim it to be, then you can reach out to me and work with me directly by paying me any of the leading cryptos with high liquidity.

Otherwise, I have no intention of wasting your time, or mine.


Word of advice, never add someone to your list without telling them first.

i got a PM from 1miau that you are looking for translators.
the project could be interesting.

but the risk to get paid nothing if the project fails is very high.
so i am waiting for a better offer than a meager "you get paid only if we raise money."

nevertheless,
i could consider doing all the necessary translation work from English to German - but no community engagement on social media or any moderation - i am very busy with other projects.

i could also get a Chinese translator on board who has been working with me on several ICOs as a translator.

i also strongly suggest to hire a professional graphic designer - the material / ANN thread looks not professional - which is very important if you want to attract investors.

i will keep an eye on this topic, keep me updated.

I still don't get it.

When the sale is over and the tokens are ready for distribution, they get distributed immediately. Where is an escrow adding any value/security to the process?

I think you need to read again. The amount is determined by the raised money. You can't escrow an amount of 0.
0 being 1% of 0 raised by now. Same thing for the token/coin that doesn't even exist yet. I'm unsure regarding what you are expecting

Any more information you can give us regarding the potential escrow agents you will use for your project? Have you selected one already?

Yes, would be a little bit risky but since you aren't sharing malicious content and there is no option to notify users otherwise I wouldn't see it as a violation of the rules. For such cases, PMs are implemented in my opinion as far as you don't send advertisements, referral- or phishing links. (But I'm not a moderator).
Another aspect why notifications would be useful if your name is mentioned, people just don't notice it.

I will forward this to the Dev team.

We were talking about this project with the dev team not recently. There are few months past we started talking to them. We had back and forth email exchanges, idea sharing and a lot of conversations.
At the very beginning they did not have any idea that community is not going to accept a project without a public team. Then we offered them to consider escrow service. They were very pleased with the offer. In the process of communication we were able to gather enough feeling that the team is working actively to achieve their goal. I can not be very sure however I believe they are here with a good intention in mind for the blockchain industry.

I will talk to the team to provide a PDF.

First i wanna say if i doing something about the project it would be realy good to know more about them .
More info we get so better would be maybe the translation and the use of the translation and all and we can be sure that is something serious.
If i doing an translation for this project i would be do the Translation for the Whitpaper and maybe the ANN , but more i cant do at the moment because i am busy with other things too !
Also if you toke someone else i have no problem with that !
I trust 1miau fully and i guess the 2 names he has posted will be doing an great job too !

I've PMed Lafu and hopefully he will give an answer here soon. He is very busy right now and may have a look at it if he can do the translations, he has done some in the past. If he wouldnt' have time to do it feel free to PM Hilde X or layer1gfx. They are valuable German translators.
But I think more information about the project and especially the team would be helpful convincing trusted translators to join.  

In addition you can PM the nominated users to make them aware about the topic. I'm afraid that most users you mentioned in your OP don't know about the list and their nomination.
