Welcome to the original and inimitable Bitcoin Forum founded by Satoshi Nakamoto itself years before his disappearance, @Saddam2690.

If you are eager to know about Bitcoin and crypto in general this is the best place you could have landed; on the contrary, if you are here in order to make some "decent" money, then Welsh's three years time window is the general rule. But don't be discouraged: even if it is long, it is a beautiful journey, and you will be able to earn some satoshis and other altcoins much earlier than that if this is still your main goal.

All the information that you seek is in the Meta section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=24.0

We have plenty of sticky threads at the top of the section outing the guidelines of the forum, and we have a search function you can use if you can't find what you are looking for.

As for signature campaigns. If you want to participate in one that pays decently, then you've got a long road ahead of you. As with any job you'll need to build up your experience, and demonstrate to the signature campaign managers that you would be a good investment as a advertiser. This usually means that your account is established for a few years, and makes quality, and well thought out posts.

My guess would be; these days most users would expect to be eligible for a Bitcoin paying signature campaign around the 3 years mark since there's so much competition, and the fact that you would need to establish yourself on the forum before hand.

Recently I came here to work on the campaign. But there are many other aspects that I do not know. Does the forum only work for the campaign? I have seen many members here are senior members. How can I get it? What are the rules of merit or the forum? What are the rules?help us..

Assuming you mean signature campaigns, they are hard to enter because of the membership requirements (mainly starting from Senior Members onwards) and there are many applicants before the Campaign Managers choose them.

The forum core function still maintains, as a Bitcoin discussion but there are some other subforums as well.

To rank up, you must gain Merit points which are given by other members for informative/ helpful posts in addition to Activity (time spent on the forum). More details below:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/history-of-bitcointalkorgs-rank-system-5170032

So as you can see, ranking up isn't as easy as posting and praying you get to the top so you have to work your way up.

There are also many rules @ https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/unofficial-list-of-official-bitcointalkorg-rules-guidelines-faq-703657 but most importantly, do not plagiarize (copy and paste posts or articles without giving them source). That results in a PERMANENT ban

First You Are WELCOME

Does the forum only work for the campaign

The forum doesn't actually work for the campaign. It's an information center. But there are some poor countries here that have some airdrops for them. So that they get some money.

First, most people complaining about merit are constantly posting garbage, and should not rank-up. The forum is not a welfare system; you don't run through a few hoops and then get paid for doing something that nobody actually wants. I like that good forum members can make money, especially when said forum members are in poorer countries and this is a major opportunity for them. I very much do not want to destroy the sig-ad/airdrop/bounty "industry".

What are the rules of merit or the forum? What are the rules?

If you want to get merit, you must create a good topic. You have to do more research on Bitcoin. Here are some of the good points. And if you benefit from it, you will get merit.

The sooner you understand the rules, the sooner you can move forward. So learn the rules.
