In order to have a good start here, you must first understand what Bitcoin really is, how it works, how to store your coins properly and some tips in order to avoid being the next scam victim or the next one who loses their coins one way or another. So here comes a little tutorial that will help you begin your journey, including some of my personal experience:

1. What is Bitcoin?

2. How does Bitcoin work?

3. How do I store my coins properly and safely?

4. How do I buy Bitcoins?

I'll write this one for you. Use exchanges that are non-custodial (decentralized). Make sure you read the terms and conditions before rushing in on a website. Better "waste" 10 more minutes and buy Bitcoins without hassles than rush it and have surprises. First of all, if a website mentions having KYC anywhere, run away and look for something else. Secondly, I'd recommend you to buy from either ATMs or through Bisq or other decentralized exchanges. Just make sure your bank account is okay with people who are transacting with cryptocurrencies, or your account could get locked to your surprise. Look for ways that do not invade your privacy. Your personal data is very valuable. Take maximum care of it. Do extensive research about an exchange before using it and never give out your private keys or seed to anyone! Once you have your coins, you can use Bisq or Atomic DEX to buy other cryptocurrencies if you wish. Another option is to mine Bitcoins, which is the best but requires some large investment to be made. For mining, check out the Mining board.

5. How do I avoid future scams and fund losses?
I think I can summarize this for you too:

Run away from any offer or service that seems too good to be true. No, the crypto insane giveaways aren't real nor are almost 100% of the cloud mining services. Nobody will give you money for free!
A lot of people are tempted to join lots of bounties to earn altcoins. Although the first ones were okay, today we have too many scams to filter them out from the okay ones. So I always consider bounties a waste of time unless one really proves to be legit.
Always save your master seed or private keys and never give them to anyone. They're purely yours. Giving away your seed/private keys is like giving me the keys to your house.
Do not use centralized wallet services. Blockchain? Coinbase? Forget them! Use Electrum for PC and Mycelium for mobile and be under complete control of your funds.

Welcome to the crypto community bitcointalk. Most of forum members here enough helpful, so you will have to raise specific questions about cryptocurrency to know more. Before that you may use search button whatever you need to ask, so you would get appropriate answers. First think that you need to learn about forum as well, I will prefer read this forum index thread created by LoyceV. Here you may learn about forum & cryptocurrency as well.

Before deal with cryptocurrency learn more. For example you want to buy bitcoin, before that you should choose appropriate wallet/clients. There is lots of scam scheme you should be careful before deal with any third party. Remember, bitcoin and most of cryptocurrency is irreversible. You can't back your fund once confirmed on the blockchain. So before send and receive money make sure that address is belongs to your and you have access private keys (for receive), and for sending always double check send address to avoid keypad/clipboard hack.

Most important thing don't share your private keys and seed with anybody and write them on multiple paper & save them on multiple places to avoid future losses.

Other forum members are here to help you along the way on your cryptocurrency journey, but first, you need to search. Search around the forum, understand how it works, look up Bitcoin (and any other currency that might interest you). This way you'll get to know the basic stuffs and then decide what you want to do with that information.

Getting started can be confusing as there is lots of information to digest. So try and get a learning plan, follow sticky threads, first in this board (beginner's and help), and very importantly, be conscious of scams, do not dabble into any investment venture until you fully understand it.

I don't know why is it there is a lot of bitcointalk account creating today, anyway's if you're a real beginner. STICKY TOPIC is the best to start, that can really help you. You can see that at the top of every board posted by the moderator, that is very important don't forget to read it.

Read about blockchain and crypto currency. Do not blindly trust on any investment advice. Read how to manage and safe guard your private keys.

Book that you can pick to start is Mastering bitcoin. Also, even if you read threads in Bitcointalk you will get lot lot knowledge. And if you have trouble understanding something the community in this forum is great they will help you out. But, please do follow forum rules.
