It really hurts and it's all about the feeling that you're confident and at the same time the odds that you've trusted that much.
True, it hurts on the pocket, it hurts on the mind and it hurts to see our favorite team losses when we all know that they are more capable of those performances. Disappointment takes a toll on our emotion. Even some people got trauma if the disappointment is too huge for them to handle.
As you do the opposite, it's not also that guaranteed at all because those odds are most of the times correct if it's on the winning side. As I've said, upsets do happen and when they do, it's hell of an upset.
True, going against the better odds always resulted in failure but in sports, upset is a regular thing and always gives a sweet return in terms of profit. Just like what others always say, we can't be sure of the result until it happens. So we arent sure if we can win the bet or not even though we picked the one that the crowd's favorite or the dominant team.
That game was just so shocking, there were no other details to check, those who betted for Saudi Arabia did so because the the really high odd, and they all bet very little amount which clearly shows that they weren't expecting Saudi to win, but were trying out their luck, serious gamblers who were strong willed and had huge cash to bet all put their money on Argentina, a friend of mine called me a few days ago to ask for help and narrated how he lost $10,000 on that game, it's really heart breaking though, but we all must learn to be strong in times like this, this is the kind of loss that lead many some gamblers into suicidal thoughts and eventually, suicide.
That was a huge amount but I believe your friend can absorb the losses hopefully he can recuperate those losses on other bets. It is really a bad thing to think that the game is a sure win because of the factors we know, there is always a random factor that will affect the result of the game. I hope the game isn't rigged because if it is then it will only add salt to the wound.
