Well, while the numbers are certainly overwhelming for people today my wild guess is that this guys probably owns more than couple thousands BTC.

NitrogenSports probably have the most Bitcoin high-rollers when it comes to sportsbetting. I have seen people betting hundreds of BTC in the span of days. By the way if you check the leaderboards of Sportsbet.io you will see some people have bet more than 150BTC but how much have they lost while accruing those points? There are early adopters with hundreds if not thousands of coins and there are also wealthy people with successful businesses or high-paying jobs who perhaps prefer to gamble with Bitcoins.

It's not a brutal loss. Look at how that person eager to bet such amount meaning it has really lots of big balls on their pocket.
For us average person in bitcoin world, even at minimum of BTC1 with continous lossing streak, it's already considered as brutal loss for us. Even a gambler itself knows how to put some limit in their greediness so I will believe if that guy really cares for money if the bet was around BTC1-BTC5. Maybe in that level of person's gambling activity it's still on average depth amount. Yes a hurtful loss but didn't reached yet the final stage of regrets.

But if he gambles this way soon or later he will become poor even though he is rich now and that is the power of gambling. If you're addicted then very difficult come out of gambling but if one tries then surely can find ways to stop gambling.

What the? I thought at first this is just a promotion of nitrogensports.eu but upon checking the betslip. DAMN! Man, whoever is that guy is truly a crazy one and nuts. That amount is already a dream come true to me to have a lot of assets and with this just lost within a single day? I don't know but I am the one who is the most affected and feeling regret for this bet.
Oh my god ! It is loss of somebody else and I have fainted after seeing this number of Bitcoins. Now think at the possibilities what could be done or achieved with such amount. I also lost last night some amount but I always play in small amounts. That is dreamed amount that anyone can wish to be able to raise in life time. This can be called crazy attempt nothing else.

Wow! that's very sad if i was that person i would stop betting condolence but still that happened because he doesn't have enough to think about betting on a team because when you bet on a team you have to the analysis to know that a team is good or very good at playing well we don't have that much of knowledge about their team i won't blame them but choose wisely because if they might have a chance to win something big and same as thier winning team so they will win large amount of btc in their next game so just take care of betting and observe the slightest team if you are capable of analyze the team and support them that's the important part of betting supporting with all they got

Although I never went with surety in gambling but this betting slip has changed my opinion totally about sports betting as well now. After seeing this I will be much more careful for my future bets on sports event as well. I was taking sports games more easily but again reach the point play with what you can afford to loose. May be he went all in being sure he is going to make huge.
i am always skeptical about these types of stats. i mean look at it the bets are all either 24BTC or 48BTC and the sites says that he has lost 216BTC who the hell loses 165,000 USD on gambling online?

Such amounts are only seen in casinos as the websites too have a limited bankroll to accept amounts that are beyond their budget. Losing 129k dollars (the price of bTC was $600-$630 in September) on sports is being crazy.
Looks like he just wanted to spend those bitcoins he must be holding for years.

I can not lose a lot of bitcoin if this is true he is betting those but i think he is not the only one who betting that is why his bet is too large and maybe many people right now are gamble online or a group betting that is why the btc bet is so high.

How that guy must be crying. I know I would be. 6 loses in a row that shouldn't have been and wit hthat much btc at stake. holy crao thats hundreds of btc. over 20btc for one bet ?? 40btc for one bet
Holy crap. The guy didn't think it out carefuly enough and he should have kept his bets at a reasonable skillful rate that is constant not that crazy wild betting . Nitrogen must be happy though.
I would be happy to hold 1/4 amount of money in Bitcoins how much this player has lost. I am in shocked to see how some people can go this way. This gambler may own much more money still but this is amount which no one can forget or afford to loose easily. It has been reality but he/she surely is crying over his loss being such greedy. It is another example that in gambling nothing is sure.
