Dips are common with all forms of investment and are not just limited to crypto-currency. I know certain equities which dipped by more than 99% during the dot com bust. At least Bitcoin is faring much better. It is still holding on to 30% of its value from the peak levels.

Those that bought bitcoin when the value was $20k will eventually have been having regrets by now that the value is struggling with the 6k support range. It is actually a huge loss for those group of persons. Some must have accepted their faith and opted out already while some are still waiting in optimism for the price to reach and even get passed the range. My advise for those that bought at the $20k range should be to just hold their coin until it eventually appreciates to that level.

To be honest, I was surprised to see the topic you wrote. If that happens, it's certainly the biggest loss for you to sell at the current price. I think there is no other way except to hold it and wait for prices to rise again to reach $ 20K.

I don't understand why did the OP invested on that crazy high price since most of the investors knew that that will be the end of the line there. I don't even know that it will be reaching $20K since most of the investors sold their BTCs at $19K.

The best way to do there is to wait, is to be patient on what may happen in the near future. The price will continue to increase, I hope, but it do annually so just need to wait for it. It is a disappointing loss but that is fine since that will be your lesson, a lesson learned out of mistake that you have done. Investing on Bitcoin is not a mistake, it is just the time of your investment.

Please I won't advice you to regret your actions. Take it as a learning cycle and be more watchful and always know how to manage your portfolio even in a bear market. Do not give up. Hold your tokens for the long term

That's why we have to analyze before making a purchase, whether the price will continue to go up or down when the sales have exceeded the limit and the price is too high, meaning the time for investors to take profit, so it's not the right time to make a purchase.

I am concerned about your loss
If you bought bitcoin last December maybe you can see that you are now in loss on your portfolio, we can really see that the price did dropping , but one thing for sure if you hold your coins thatvis not considered as loss because there will maybe a great posibility that the bitcoin price will rise above the past price . So we need to hold and have some patience on it for good.

This is clearly a dead cat bounce. You people are too optimistic. 4950 is target. Watch it dip and watch shitty altcoins totally die
Then we can talk about “mooning” Smiley

I got into the bitcoin again last year after losing all my 4.5 bitcoins to ponzi schemes early last year. I bought in bitcoin again at $20k. Now bitcoin is $6k+.  I'm regretting my actions.  Huh
sorry to hear about that. It's totally terrible for all of us in this case. But I believe not only you bought in bitcoin at $20K. Some cut loss and some still hodl like you. If you ever trade in forex, stock exchange... you have to know and decide to cut loss. it will pain at that time but maybe it can save you a lot likely in this case. I believe we will hard to see bitcoin can climb back to 10k in this year. Let's try to sell top and buy lower to cover your loss

No need to regret it, save and hold your bitcoin until the price rises again, this is the usual price fluctuations, in my opinion there is no need to worry about market conditions like this, make sure you will benefit.
i don't know but based on my research bitcoin is not reached 20,000$. the highest price that attain by the bitcoin is at 19,870$ even though it is closed it is still not reached the 20,000$. but i am sure thay you feel sad because the price of the bitcoin now is not good  maybe you only hold it until the price of bitcoin rise again

So we should we type 19,870 dollar every time, or just make it easy on everyone and say 20k.

You are right, if we round off it it is considered 20k and it is very easy to type. About the people who made investments before maybe they should have to wait again for bitcoin to reach that price again.

Well nowadays as price of bitcoin near 6K it's difficult that when you bought bitcoin at 20k but near one and half years ago bitcoin start high from 1K so don't panic and pressurised just wait and hold it will cross the 20k.

I think not only you buying bitcoin at $20k. Its highest bitcoin price and current price at $6500. If you believe on your investment better keep holding it more longer because bitcoin predicted reach $50k early 2019

damn, its a huge loss, but its okay if you still believe in bitcoin maybe next year or next 2years the price of bitcoin will increasing and have value more than $20000, my suggestion for you is try to buy more at the low price, and sell it when the high, it will makes your loss value is decreasing

In long term maybe you would have profit as its rising in long term and maybe this could be another peack so everything will be right have patience it will be rewarded.

This is a test of your patience to see prices rise again in the future and try to be more patient and be patient because Bitcoin is not stable money that you can predict when it will rise again.

D:, that's really sad to read. I hope you're doing fine though, the past is done, just try to approach any new investment opportunity with a little bit more clarity as to where the general situation is pointing and whether you'd like to follow suit or not. (talking about last year's bubble, not sure how you could've evaded the ponzi scheme bit)

Whoa! that a huge amount it is 1M equivalent here in my country if I am going to convert it into our money. You know what dude, you shouldn't sell it even if it is too long to wait, because if there is decreasing happened in its bitcoin value for sure in the end increasing is the only way to happen after decreasing value in the market. Maybe you just became impatience so take it a lesson anyway.
