By seeing the increasing in price rapidly I invested in bitcoin. Was it the perfect time? What is the prediction of price for now with reason?!
Frankly speaking, this is not the perfect time to invest. Yeah, I understand that you been brag by the people around saying Bitcoin price will rise up. Hope you don't mind but the risk that you have faced is really high.

You are one of those riders who come and ride into crypto when the market is high. FOMO...
I feel bad about this, not because you come late but you are actually buying Bitcoin at this ATH. I am afraid that you feel regrets in the coming days.

I think you have no plan before investing .Just watch the move and play through it .It has crossed the 23k$ level and still forcing to go up .If you hold it for long time it will give you a huge amount of profit for sure but it will be so tough to get profit within short time .Best of luck mate .

If you are a day trader or have day trading skills then it does not matter if you bought the coin at a high price. Someone else will buy at the price you sell. And then you repeat the process until you get the profit you want for the day. If you are buying as a form of investment then you can simply wait for sometime until you can be sure that you can sell the coin at a good rate and you will earn a good profit for that. Just be careful and be mentally ready for anything.

wow that's a very high level for me, $ 23500 is a new ATH for bitcoin,
if you buy it at the top I think you have to worry, remember when the price of Bitcoin reached $ 20300 in 2017,
and finally dropped to the bottom below $ 5000, would you not regret it ?, remember, don't hold too long if you buy at the top.

First of all, you have to move this thread to the right section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=57.0 this section is belongs to altcoin discussion.

As for your decision that has done, I think there is a possibility for the bitcoin price to increase more than the new ATH $23.800.

The stimulus factor hasn't yet agreed upon by the US government, an increasing price a few time ago just an anticipation of some investors to buy bitcoin at low prices.

You may need a special attention to look at bitcoin instinctively, make an analyst every day to see what will happen because you need technical analysis as well when you have the intention to invest your money in bitcoin.

Of course, I don't think there's anything to say right now that you've just bought, but the reason you bought it is that you have to wait a while because you can't sell anymore, so you have to hold on. But especially without waiting for what you will do at this moment. But I think wait for BTC to pump a lot more in the future. But you have to keep an eye on BTC updates in advance. Thank you.

Did you get FOMO? Well, if you do then you do not have choice but to wait when bitcoin will going to do good in the future. If you can wait then there is no problem with how much you buy for your bitcoin.  Anyway, bitcoin is best for long term hold. So if you have bought that kind of price just kindly wait probably 3-5 years from now that market can get doubled so it is still a big profit in you with the market exponentially increasing over a period of time.

Even though you bought Bitcoins at the all time high, I wouldn't say it's a bad investment. There are so many companies switching into crypto currencies right now that the demand is not going down likely in the near future. If you bought your coins with intension to hold them long term you are fine. I would not go for short term profits and rather go for the long term approach. Long term the bitcoin trend is upwards.

You got in at the wrong time and for now you a among those who bought at the highest pick of bitcoin this year, you should have bought when it was under $19,000.

Or you should have waited for the market to drop in price again before you buy, but buying at $23,500 is huge, you will have to hodle and wait for long to make significant profits.

That's very easy to say now. But how do you decide when's the perfect time to buy? It might go even higher than $23.000. If OP doesn't need the money and are willing to hold for a couple of years, I am sure he won't regret his descision. But he shouldn't make the mistake and panic when Bitcoin starts dropping and sell everything again. That's when you really lose your money. Best thing in that case would be to buy even more to bring your avarage price down.

I think that it was not worth investing in bitcoin now, because it is possible that the price of bitcoin will no longer rise for some time, and it is possible that correction of the price of bitcoin will begin soon, so it is best to invest in bitcoin when the price of bitcoin drops very much, so I am waiting for bitcoin correction.

You have taken a big leap of faith with the risk of losing big time but I admire it a correction may come at any moment just be firm at hand and don`t panic when it dips more than you expected, sure enough BTC will go back  at 2.5k mark if it does then decide whether your going to sell or keep holding until you reach the price you desired.

The guy has a huge faith that is why he bought at that level and many those who don't want to be left behind or wants Bitcoin to rally are buying, we can't blame them as long as they only invest what they can afford to lose, and they know the risk, we have no problem with that, I hope people will not panic and dump Bitcoin price projection will be attain.

although it sounds funny what you acted but it happens . there could be  two types of investors in this market . the one is he invest when price is falling and the other is like you, investing when the prices are rising .

that can be a perfect time for the pump investors but it can be a bad time for those dump investors but when it comes to predictions i think i cant really help you with that because i myself is also strugling on my own predictions . for now my head tells me that btc will continue to rise till the final day of this month

It is a risk for everyone who buys any price be it bitcoin or altcoin, ask yourself why buy at that price?
Whatever decisions we take, make sure we are ready to suffer losses with this decision, even if your funds get stuck and you still believe bitcoin will continue to grow, hold on, but if you are in doubt you can sell at any time even though you experience a loss.

TBH, most of the replies here will say "It isn't the perfect time to buy Bitcoin" etc. etc.

In the end, it is your own money and you are the one who will risk on it and it would be better if you at least know when to enter and when to exit. As Bitcoin is surging people are starting to get hyped by it and you're one of the people who got FOMO'ed and bought at the top. Long term it is still good but short term no. I expect a correction in the next days to weeks and $20,000 will be a strong support or at least the support for now. Going below that price will be a bad sign at least for the short term.

To be honest there is no perfect time to buy or sell the Coin.
What you need to follow is just quick prediction knowledge.
But as you have bought the BTC as such a high price, then it’s really hard to say that if you can make profit from it or not.
According to me it’s not a wise decision that you have made.
You could have simply wait when BTC price could have fell down a bit around 18k USD.
Still let’s hope for the best and wish you make good profits from your investments.

There is no wrong time and there is no right time to buy your bitcoin, there were people who bought @ $20k in 2017, if it gets to $30k there are people who will still buy. I strongly urge you to HODL your coins firmly.

The suggestion for people who bought bitcoin at $23,500 is only held and do not cut loss because that can make you getting lose for some money. But if you think that you can follow the price to go up and down, maybe cut lose will be a good idea, so you can try to buy at a low price, and who knows, you can profit from using that way. But if you think it is difficult to follow the price, then hold your bitcoin will be the best suggestion for you. So I hope you can decide carefully before the act.

Seriously after seeing the price skyrocket, this is when you decided to invest in bitcoin?
Cheesy alot of people did this during the 2017 bull run,and it took them 3 years to recover the money they invested, but it's fine to buy bitcoin at that high price if you are a long term holder and you believe it's going to go much higher in the future, but if you are a trader hoping to buy low and sell high, I'm sorry you bought at the wrong time, the right time to buy bitcoin was March, April, May or other months apart from that high price you bought it, it's very risky to buy at such price.
