To OP, I guess you better convert your bitcoin into fiat and make some transaction using your fiat money so the it will not be that expensive in your part.

At this point it is clear that we will never be able to purchase a coffee with on-chain transaction.
Whenever we like it or not a second layer network will be developed in the future to prevent overload of the network.
Bitcoin will be used and cornerstone for larger system - but until this happen the idea of buying your coffee with BTC is dead.

Well, in my country, you can buy a lot of coffee with bitcoin right now. Even you can build your own coffee shop. Here, bitcoin is so valuable, and has a high value when converted into fiat form. But, most people are not yet aware to immediately look for bitcoin, because it lacks interest with it.

That would be so sad if that case will going to happen, things will be really different as the timr goes by, we do not know how things work in the future if the transaction fee wi going to affect the consumption of bitcoin.

Blockchain is a great technology and bitcoin is also revolutionary, and paying for coffee with it seems like a stupid idea for me, you better pay with BTC for some electronical devices, or anything more expensive than 5$ lol.

Since its release the bitcoin has been aiming to become a revolutionary way of payment a way to replace spending money on the internet with having more sense of security and to avoid banking fees or credit cards usage.

But that idea kept fading away as bitcoin kept to grow constantly and people started realizing the fact that utilizing bitcoin as a profitable investment due to its price constantly growing is better than getting it and then spending it like regular money, so they started treating it like gold, and that what makes it hard to people spending it and business owners accepting as a payment method.

You quit to buy coffee only, but i quit everything to buying with bitcoin. Because when bitcoin was under $500, than sometime i use it for shopping but now bitcoin has a heavy price. So i am prefer to save than use the bitcoin.

Well maybe you need to raise the fee. That’s the point of the fee. The higher it is the less long it takes to complete the transaction and get the confirmations.

But, buying coffee with Bitcoin isn’t really practical anyway. Unless you make a living with Bitcoin just buy your beverage with your local fiat currency. People are always romanticizing about buying everything in bitcoin but it is actually more convenient for you to just use your government backed currency.

The cost we pay does not go up, I think, due to the high bitcoin value, which makes the cost we pay for a higher value, however, if we Reduce costs, the transaction will be blocked. This shows that bitcoin is in the stage, it is challenging, need a remedy. If they can overcome this, I believe that will grow stronger than ever. Buying bitcoin coffee at the present time is an unwise idea.

Good idea for OP. However, why anyone would want to spend their precious crypto on something as consumable as coffee is beyond me. But good luck in doing so if that's your desire.

Because Bitcoin, or any other cryptos, is/are a currency and shall be used as it. It's not a collectible item like stamps. In this case the same could be say with fiat why anyone want to spend their precious money on something as consumable

I have also no idea why would somebody wants to use his bitcoin on to something that could be bought by fiat in the first place, is this a way to impress people and say, "Hey, I have bitcoins folks, who want some?" something like this. It is a waste of profits, really, because instead that we could have a large profit in the long run, we are jut throwing it away for some coffee or whatsoever that we wanted to buy that can be bought by fiat, I mean, yeah, it is worth it, if, we are going to buy the stuffs that we need that can only be bought by bitcoin.

LOL, so the same can be say with fiat. Why are you using fiat for something that could be bought by bitcoin? Is it also a way to imress people and say "Yo, i have fiat folks, who want some?" If I were you,I wouldn't waste my btc on buying a cup of tea.Who knows this cup of coffee will cost me thousands of dollar in future like the 10,000 btc.
Use bitcoin for bigger transaction or better hold it.

Speaking of the matter, he want to spend his bitcoin as normally as it should be, it's normal, you can't consider it's as a waste whereas bitcoin was first made to be a currency for spending and not for investing.
Probably you're right that in the future we might see that bitcoin would skyrocketing its price but still it's a right thing to use your bitcoin for a cup of coffee.
