Hi,
I'm writing here just to let you know I completely shut down this project since it didn't have any traction.
I may open it again if I notice some people are interested in it... but it is clearly not the case at this moment!

A big thank to those who believe in this project though!
I will come back!

I don't see anything that might interest visitors here it's totally blank and there's no traffic at all
@Arnadus have stated on the thread that the site was totally blank, not developed yet. We need to wait for his update in this thread related to the progress. In my understanding, he is waiting for people to submit job applications or job information. However, this is not an effective way to attract people or improve traffics. The first thing he must do, is to make the site looks more alive. He can add some words, pictures, videos, or anything related to the crypto jobs.

The website is literaly blank and empty. Those tabs aren't well arranged on its letters and since it's nothing and blank. It's going to be hard to assess what's with your website.

I think you have to start working on it and just look for some specific crypto related jobs and link the original post as you post it onto your website. That's just as a start and when you're about to work for its progress, you have to work on it a lot including the marketing and public relations for the clients since it's a marketplace of jobs.

I really need a job of crypto currency. And your this website will helps us in finding a new job. It is a very great work from you. I really like your website and work. Crypto is the new technology and working in this technology is very great idea.  I am a programmer at crypto currency projects so I think this website is really helpful for me.

Have you seen the site or you just read the thread and did not bother to check the website, it's empty now maybe the dev is configuring it but he should put a notification that the website is being update without this, visitors will think it's neglected.

Is the site working well? I tried to access the site using Brave browser and VPN connection and I'm having some problems. it is slow and blank with a few options.
Do I need to create an account to be able to do anything? I thought that there is an ANN board and if I decide to communicate or use the escrow provided by the site, I need to create an account.

In a world of coins, use them.
Hey!

I scanned your website for vulnerabilities , you have several high risk ones. Im just pointing them out so that you can fix them if this type of thing matters to you.

Security issues:

Your using bootstrap 4.2.1, that version contains a massive exploitable issue that allows an experienced user to do remote-code-execution on your web server.

Your also using jquery 2.2.3, which also has a massive exploitable issue

Your also using Lodash 4.17.11 which has a medium risk security flaw

If I were you, I would update my Libraries, just so a data breach doesnt happen, but its not my website, so not my choice.

Hope this helped!

Jobcoiner has at least one advantage : it's free. No intermediate.
The part I've highlighted in black, doesn't always count as an advantage [especially in a platform that both parties should keep their end of the bargain].
- Security should always be your number one priority, or else it ends in a disaster [it always does].

Any other advantages? Cheesy

IDK where you find info about charging, perhaps the owner deleted it after your suggestion.
You can find this information on their website page bottom:

https://cryptojobslist.com/hire-blockchain-talent

Clicking on button Post Jobs that is located on top you will be redirected to new page for creating jobs, that is showing this value by default but you can move slider left or right, from $69 to $2569 or entering value manually and changing your budget:

Who will pay one single cent to post a job offer on a fresh new started service, with zero reach?
My reply was not related with this new website Jobcoiner from @Arnadus, but I replied to @ksaitor that is owner of other website Cryptojobslist started back in 2017.

I will add some examples for people to know how a job listing will look like.

You're also right when you say there are lots of other websites of this type. But AFAIK, they are all commercial products. Jobcoiner has at least one advantage : it's free. No intermediate. A bit like bitcoin, no? haha

add some active job offers, not just an example.
otherwise, not all are commercial, there are free and very popular and this will be a serious competition for you. For example on Reddit there are several channels there, but I will leave only one example
https://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/

I am not sure what Pomp is doing but I see that you are charging $199 by default for posting job offer (that can be changed manually), but is it possible to create job offer for free or for $1?

IDK where you find info about charging, perhaps the owner deleted it after your suggestion. Charging anything in this case, especially when business is at the beginning makes no sense. Who will pay one single cent to post a job offer on a fresh new started service, with zero reach?
perhaps in the near future, he can expect the possibility to charge listing renewal or "stay on top" options and that's all.

Hey everyone,

I developed a small job listing website where everybody can post or apply to crypto related jobs.
At this moment, it really is just a POC to see if it can be of any use to anyone.
It's completely blank and the project is just waiting for your jobs/applies!

Here is the link: https://www.jobcoiner.com/

Of course, it can be of use to anyone, if you created something you have to believe that it will have users and it will have value for the community that you are targetting, unfortunately, we are not in an industry where you build and they come, you have to come out do promotion anywhere because users and clients are everywhere from the kind of platform you build, Goodluck it's better to offer subscription form so visitors will have an update whenever there is new jobs or applicants.

Maybe you can cooperate with other similar crypto platforms and freelance websites, but you would also need to create some advertising campaign to spread the word about your website.
I would also create jobcoiner twitter and reddit account and have some referral campaign for inviting new people to create job offers.

You're also right when you say there are lots of other websites of this type. But AFAIK, they are all commercial products. Jobcoiner has at least one advantage : it's free. No intermediate. A bit like bitcoin, no? haha
You need to have some advantage over other competing websites and that is not just being free, maybe better give them some incentive to sign up and use your website.

Also, just as a friendly hint of what to expect - CoinMarketCap launched a job board i think in ~2019 and that didn't go far. Coingecko considered doing that too (they talked to me and they are good friends btw!). Now pomp launched something… and a few other people. As long as people are not just copy-pasting the same thing and actually there to bring more people into crypto - that sort of initiatives are healthy and good!
Coinmarketcap = Binance and I don't trust anything I see on their website, Coingecko is much better and people use those websites daily so it's a good idea to add job list, but you can also add coin prices like they have.

It's also by far not the first website of this type, you'll likely face tough competition. In Google I find several websites of this kind (crypto.jobs, cryptocurrencyjobs.co, cryptojobslist etc.).

Hello. https://cryptojobslist.com founder here. Just logged in to say "Hi Smiley "
And yeah, just wanted to add that this space is indeed been getting quite competitive lately. Since the day I've launched CJL back in 2017, there been about 2-5++ other sites in the same category popping up, including above mentioned ones. Some come and go, some stay. I would be delighted to add more features and make jobcoiner looks like Linkedin but I first would like to know what direction would be the best for this project. I think being in a niche is not a bad idea but if the website gets more tractions by being general, I may head towards that direction instead Smiley The aim here is to launch a POC to get reviews and opinions ASAP from the community Smiley This is what you are doing so that's great! It's a shame there's nop more people like you on this world haha
I like your positive attitude, you're right about being niche although right now it won't be as big since it's a small group but in the future, this niche sector is going to be sought after. Also, try contacting crypto companies to grow you job listings.

Seems to be very simple and contains still some parts of the template you used. Or why is there the following sentence: "Only .NET jobs"? I think the intersection of ".NET" and crypto is pretty small, although I may be wrong.

The locations/cities also seem only to cover the US, which is a lost opportunity, I think - crypto is international, so a crypto job portal should also not be limited to a single country.

Is there any demo job listing to look at, to know how the pages will look?

First of all, thank you so much for your reply! Very relevant.
The website is still very basic indeed. I actually pushed it on prod only today so that's why there are still some glitches. The sentence containing .NET has been replaced, it was indeed a  oversight!
I could have developed it more and added more features to it but I first wanted to know if it was of any interests to anybody here. The look-by-locations feature was inherited from a previous job listing project and can definitely be removed if it does not suits people looking for cryptocurrencies jobs. Smiley I actually hesitated to remove it before pushing it into prod.

I will add some examples for people to know how a job listing will look like.

I hate to break this to you but crypto is a niche job and you will have to expand to more than just crypto if you want your site to grow, make it like LinkedIn or those other sites that is the same as yours. Plus, people might even find the Services board of this forum much better since it's a direct to the employer.
