LOL, it's really a really long story, I just got to page 5, I gave up  but maybe I understand OP's main problem now

so, I guess, after 10 years, this guy finds that the price of BTC has gone up horribly and can still go up more. Therefore, he still feels uncomfortable about being hacked before. It is obvious that he is looking for you to compensate him for a huge amount of money that he cannot even get even if he is not hacked. I really can't tell the truth behind your story, whether you took his money or not, whether he slandered you or not, I can't say for sure. But one thing is clear that Mr AllInVain is really a greedy man. Assuming he didn't lose that BTC, there is still a high probability that he sold all of his BTC when BTC price was high during the last period, there are many milestones that he has may have sold it. He's suing you because he thinks he's supposed to be a billionaire  But it's too bad you leaked your information in this space 

Yes I understand that and just mentioned those parts because its part of what makes it a fascinating tale. Sorry to hear your "friend" still hasn't quite gotten over his loss (after 10 years) but at least they stopped harassing you.

i am not involved in any of those activities - while my name leaked in 2011/2012 i did not know i was under some sort of investigation unlit 2 months ago

The nasty behavior and harassment stopped - we have not be bothered for over a week -  thank you, to the members still investigating this matter for hearing me out and understanding the situation.

There's a ridiculous amount of information on what happened out there. I spent at least an hour refreshing my memory on the subject before writing a post here.

After reading through your posts, I still don't really understand what's going on. All of the topics you linked to are from 10 years ago, but they seem to have something to do with you today. Could you please be more clear? Why do the problems of 10 years ago affect you now? Although someone can lie, but this forum is anonymous, how does it affect you and your family now? the situation you gave is really ambiguous

the person that is helping ALLINVAIN is on this thread - has been on here for a long time - he is an active member that is a garbage human being and i want this person arrested without affecting AllInVain - he confirmed it verbally and also confirmed it on several posts - like i am not lying here man

Whoever contacted allinvain is in all likelihood still a scammer that came up with a harebrained plan to extort you.

Perhaps your harassers think you are Adrian Lamo, which you clearly are not... hope they aren't actually that dumb.

After doing a bit of research, it would appear the identity of the person who claims to have stolen the coins is known, however that can all be meaningless as its based on hearsay... This person is actively involved in various cryptocurrency companies. You probably are aware of all of this.

We (most of us) have no idea who you are and this happened 10 years ago now, so... short of changing your phone number and going to local law enforcement, I don't know what to tell you. I do hate hearing about people getting harassed by douchebags tho.

I talked to him over FaceBook and over phone twice (voice) also texts - i know him since he was 14 for crying out loud - he still uses the same nickname he did on IRC in the mid 90's nd pretends to be a hacker - I was going to call his dad because i had enough of this shit out of respect for how long i've known this guy.

It is not a scammer, i thought so initially for the first 2 months - but after confronting AllInVain - he confirmed that they are working together and that he is helping him out

Please feel free to contact bring this thread to his attention, if he will join this thread and say i lied about anything in the statements i made, i should be considered prime suspect and he should have a case over me - i am not trolling with fake names or IRC chat-room names - you can ask him yourself - he knows me

I do not know what to say about solving this crime - i am not qualified to understand what you mean or know what to do with the info you posted - i do have a very strong background in CS, but i am not involved in crypto mining and hiding or whatever is going on here - but this is information that does not really concern me because i am not the person looking for the money - you might want to contact AllInVain with this finding of yours and help him - i wish he finds his money - he is a little naive but i swear he has a big heart even if he did this to me....

This is just an attempt to let you people know that i am not hiding no matter what this person told you about me on these forums and whoever they hired - i have a name and address and i am willing to step forward in a civilized manner and answer any questions about his missing coins - but understand that if this is done in an anonymous way and you are harassing my wife i will go to the police with this and it will fall on the person you are trying to help - also please understand that this is not safe, what if i was violent and went to his house and put my foot up his ass? there is a proper way to do such investigations and i would suggest contacting the people that are qualified to track millions and not shady people from middle east

As others mentioned earlier, this sounds like a shakedown attempt by a scammer, and you don't actually have anything to worry about. Here's an important question:

You say you know allinvain IRL but how do you know the person you were communicating with is actually allinvain?

I will bring this thread to their attention.


Edit: the original crime could have been solved in 2011 as at least some of allinvain's coins were sent to a MtGOX controlled address.

On the forum i have linked there are several people that offered to track his coins down for a percentage - i am no detective but i got my money on one of those people unless they contacted AllInVain in private after they saw his dramatic posts in 2011 - but this is just speculation this is not real information is verified because AllInVain refuses to reveal these 'gems'

I do not know the member of the forum that are helping AllInVain - but they are on this forum - i asked AllInVain to reveal the name of the people that are doing this to me and he refuses - his exact words are 'it is none of your business and he wants to see what proof they have' - but feel free to ask him who is helping him. he refuses to tell me or the police.

To all the members that are helping him in such way - please stop - this is alot of money and i am fully co-operating with anyone that can identify themselves as a member of a lawful organization - i am not crook that stole from him out of all people - this is just a plead to whoever is doing this to me to understand that he is not saying anything to the police about this (i already checked) but is revealing my name on member of this forum - i don't know what is going on, but i am not involved with these coins please believe me, nor do i have any to send to you

If they're not from this forum, there's not much we can do.

i did report this matter to the Police in Canada and US due to my location and travels - i even told the person that was harassing me that - it still did not stop, i did contact AllInVain - but apparently these ppl he is in contact with believe i stole his coins - what else can i do except to let you ppl know on this forum i had nothing to do with it and please stop harassing me.

I'm not saying you're lying about anything, but the community here (including myself) is kind of skeptical about newbies claiming things like what you're claiming, so it's inevitable that people are going to dissect what you wrote and look for any inconsistencies.  

If you're being harassed, go to law enforcement, not a discussion forum.  Nobody here knows you or would likely help you even if they could, which they probably can't.  You don't have to prove your innocence to anyone here (or anything else for that matter).  It sounds like you need to resolve this with your accuser.

Man, I don't even know what slushpool is.  Is that something from the 2011 era or is it just not mentioned a lot on the forum anymore?  

FYI, OP: I gave you a merit so that you can get past the newbie restrictions in a couple of weeks if I'm not mistaken (assuming you're still around).  I think as it stands you have a restriction on the number of posts you can make in a certain time period and so forth, which will go away when you rank up to Jr. Member.

I do know AllInVain in RL - i am not lying - i know for a fact his name is not Aaron Barr - like i know his dad and everythng - as for the reason why i am getting attacked online about this is something you can ask him yourself - he is a celebrity on this forum and he i always online i cannot comment on his motive for siting on that for so long  and causing me su much trashy drama - especially with my family (not cool)
