Thank you guys for your opinion. Actually, I haven't a doubt in Bitcoin, I really think that he will change future, future without tyranny and oppression of the government and financial institutions. But I agree with Edward Snowden that all people who use bitcoin will attract the attention of government, FBI etc. So the question was about our safety and privacy before authorities?!

Nothing will last forever, change is a part of our nature and the natural progression of our race and society. I don't see BTC having a lifespan of more than 100 years and even that is being generous. There will be too much technological advantage for it to remain relevant.

Bitcoin is GOD
NSA whistleblower and privacy advocate Edward Snowden said that he believes Bitcoin will eventually be supplanted by another cryptocurrency that does not utilize a public ledger. (Interview with Peter Van Valkenburgh of Coin Center,  Blockstack Berlin 2018)

How do you think maybe he is right, that public blockchain of Bitcoin it's not so good for us, for our privacy??!
It is obvious that he will like a more privacy orientated coin to be the leader of the market of cryptocurrencies and as we know bitcoin is not anonymous all your information is there for the public to see but the main problem of why implementing anonymity is not possible in bitcoin is because it will slow down everything even more, the scaling issues will get bigger so it makes sense that we have niche coins instead to be used for those that want 100% anonymity.

If you are deeply privacy concerned then using altcoin that is completely anonymous is best option. While Bitcoin is not completely anonymous, But it server the purpose. With various techniques you can make Bitcoin transactions a bit more anonymous. Governments don't like fully anonymous alternatives coins and will likely restrict users from obtaining or using it in near future.

I didn't understand. That Edward Snowden is a great authority in the world of cryptocurrency? Lol. He collects information and sells it profitably. Banal paparazzi. Who might be interested in his opinion. With the same success you can listen to fortune-teller predictions. She's even more arguments will tell you what you want to hear from her.

Do you think any government would regulate something completely anonymous? this is something that will not happen so that the altcoins that are anonymous will be targets of attacks of the governments, bitcoin is fine and has a great future

As for Edward Snowden's opinion, he is entitled to his opinion as we all have a right to our opinion, but I disagree with his opinion, he is defender of altcoins that are completely anonymous.

One thing is right. Bitcoin will change the world forever. I'm sure that the era of banks and governments controlling the value and exchange of assets is coming to a close.

In my opinion, the right, but the next 1-2 years not a single brick will be able to do it, bitcoin will still be worth more than $ 50,000 but before that moment it will remain in the first place by capitalization

Nothing really lasts forever and i do believe that Snowden has a point there because in the near future cryptos with better features are going to come and they may supplant Bitcoins very soon. That one is inevitable.

As we all know everything has it's end. But maybe since Bitcoin is not that old for people to know, it will still be available as long as more people patronize it. For me he is just making a fuzz to make investors panic and sell their stocks to make chances for the new investors to invest in a cheaper price.

I'm sure that in 20 years there will either be very large transaction volume or no volume.

These are the words from the founder himself, Satoshi. The future of Bitcoin depends on the development and other aspects going around this technology. However, at this point I don't see any other coin having equal potential in terms of user base, trade volume and market environment. On the other hand, if any other coin is coming up with equal potential and growth assurance then people will definitely shift to that coin if they find it useful as compared to that of Bitcoin.

Many speculators says bitcoin will never last and will be replaced by another coin, they even mention how development of bitcoin far behind those altcoin that we have, but up to this moment bitcoin remain on the top and continue appreciating. I guess as much as there would be better coins than bitcoin, none of them can ever surpass it and can get the demand bitcoin has today.
