For me, I never felt whenever I buy bitcoin because I feel like every day is a chance for Bitcoin price to increase at a satisfying price. I have always felt that bitcoin has a chance to increase it's price every day as it always has every room for opportunity due to its unique features and styles. And besides, if I let it bother then I won't be happy in my investments decision because I will always have regrets.

Just hodl the bitcoin. It's at 14.5k now and rising. Every hour there's a different price. Sometimes it's below what you bought in at, other times it's above. But even if it's a bit higher you don't want to sell just yet. The point of risking your money was to make a significant profit, so just hodl until it gets back to the 20k range or higher. We'll see what 2018 has in store for us.

But now that it has shot up to nearly $17,000 in just a few hours, it doesn't seem like too bad an investment!

Its crazy thinking that just last week i didn't want to buy at $10, or even $11k!

My only fear is that the bubble will pop with it increasing so quickly

I think not only you that feel bad when you buy bitcoin at a high price, many people feel this too but if you can handle your emotion to not become panic then I think you can hold your bitcoin. I think soon we can see bitcoin price increase and in that time, make sure you are prepared to sell your bitcoin to reach your profit. I think it is normal that we make a mistake but we don't have to be sad for a day, there are many times for us to fix the mistake and even we can make the profit.

All of us investors were very careful as far as investing in Bitcoins is concerned. One day of the other we can buy and make decisions based on hunches and also based on speculations. Just keep the bitcoin you got and watch it grow. Everything is about holding their bitcoins right now.

Dont' feel bad, the only mistake you made is that you didn't sell it when it was >14.000 and are now facing a loss.

Buying at $14,000 may be the bottom compare to were bitcoin price will be in five to ten years to come. Many of us also have the fear you have that bubbles will pop one day but bitcoin network seeing strong days by days and it seemed no end to this pump. I believe in few years to come bitcoin will determine the financial progress and development of many countries and the citizens and governments are going to fight it to the ground when governments will try to attract bitcoin.

Never underestimate what bitcoin can accomplish, the price is still above 14k and it seems it is going to stay there for a moment but to me this seems like just a rest we are going to see bitcoin skyrocketing in the next weeks again as people return from their vacations they got from their bitcoin bonuses.

Don't feel bad about investing in BTC. Only invest what you can afford to lose. Bitcoin is on sale right now. Good luck!

When you buy at peak price, you HAVE to hold, unless your country says it is banning Bitcoin (or something extremely severe).

When you bought into Bitcoin, you bought into a roller-coaster ride, that can make great profit. Backing out is not really an option.

I remember when I bought Litecoin at $70 a few months ago (right before the big correction). I was a new investor, but I didn't sell, and today it doesn't even matter.

I wonder if the sell-off is mainly from people who bought at 18-19k, or the big money?

this is best time to buy more bitcoin price correction and fee stable.

all time is good but in some times will get max profits
When you had buy at a peak price the best to do is hold. Yes the correction is happening these days even we havent buy at dips dont worry catch again the btc price at affordable rate. Because we often didnt catch the price rate to buy $11k but analyze the market then hold btc.

i think the support level is at $11k, thought we are now seeing a lil bit of pump where not yet done, we are still in a roller coaster ride, once the consilidation is over probably next week, bitcoin will go the moon!!! just my cent  Grin

$11,000 isn't a support level at all. At this point the only level that might actually get supported is $10,000 due to its multi factor importance. As long as the market remains above that level there is not much to worry about for people. However, if we do get to dip under the $10,000 level, things will get a whole lot more interesting, but for now that's not something we have to think about. Let the market just routinely bounce up and down, because in current times that's perfectly normal for a market that thrives on greed and fear. People have become a bit more reluctant now they know that the price doesn't shoot up to $100,000 in one go.

I’m in it for the long term, so I didn’t cash out when it was high.

I don’t have the time to do short term trading, but I do wish I would have sold at $19k and then rebought at $11/12/13k. A lot of good profits for some people!

I just want to see what happens in 2018!!! I predict it is going to be a crazy year, and actually make or break for bitcoin. It will be a huge success, or people will start to move away from it

Price is changing very fast. It can come down very quick but sometimes it recovers even faster.
That means you also have to react very quick to trade, you don't have days, sometimes not even hours like before so you have to be present at the market all the time. But this is good because even if you make some bad move and buy at higher price than you wanted be sure that you will have the opportunity to make this up and that the price will rise for sure even if at that moment it seems like you are losing.

I really hope that you were able to sell the bitcoins that you bought at the all time high, i did the same, but i sold most part of my bitcoins between $18800-$19500
So i was a lucky guy, anyway, i am waiting until i can buy some more during the next few days.

I do see every chance for a dip as a good time to buy because really there is no point panicking over anything when of course this is just some normal thing that is expected to happen anyway.

Bitcoin was overbought, and it is normal to have a huge correction and that is what has caused the sudden slump but worrying about any slump now won't do any good except to just relax and watch the movie while you keep buying tickets when it is lower to enjoy more of the movie.

It's actually a nice thing to do. Just hold your investment to see it increase by the start of 2018. For sure you will never regret it!

It felt like all of the hesitation to buy at $10k already wore off and was replaced by regret. Luckily I trusted bitcoin enough to keep on buying up until $14k when I called it quits for awhile. Bitcoin is the proudest purchase I've had on my entire existence since it nets me a huge profit over the past few years. I felt bad that I haven't known anything about it when it was just budding around early 2013 but hey, at least I'm a part of the 'early investors' club!
Feeling bad and bitcoin don't fit in the same sentence. Eventhough I have made bitcoin purchases that are up nearly 1000% at this point (and I'm still holding), I didn't quit buying either. Every month or so I buy bitcoin, regardless of the price it's at, with a percentage of the money I earned that month. Last month I bought bitcoin at around $11K and it dropped to $9K right after, and eventhough it was a relatively small investment and I didn't really care at what price I bought , I kind of felt that regret of not waiting that extra hour just to scoop up some extra bitcoin. But that's just me being so eager to get as much bitcoin as possible I guess. But still pretty pathetic because bitcoin is worth $14K right now. Just keep buying with everything you are willing to lose and you will be victorious in the end.

Personally I am waiting to spend money to buy some more bitcoin. This last days the price is too volatile; yesterday the price was at 16k$, today it is at 14k$...
As you wait for the price of bitcoin to get lower and you're willing to spend money for buying bitcoin, this is the right time for you to buy some more. This is what volatility is, after the quick pump there will be a dump but I consider this as correction and it's very normal to make the economy healthy. After this quick dump there will be another quick new ATH so if you want to ride that moment, take this chance.
