Some people simply find these forums less addictive than others (or have more willpower to resist the addiction lol). Also many "hero" members went on starting various bitcoin related ventures and could be rather busy.
I know what you mean... I just got involved with one such venture myself... we'll see where it leads...

recently, I've realized that few make it to that level and once you make it there, you simply lose all interest in the majority of stupidity that is posted here...
Yep, sometimes you do wake up in the middle of retarded threads though, like the ones debating whether it's ok to replace random data with religious random data, you realize that you might as well be posting in "should my dog wear a kippah on saturdays?".

A lot of early forum members still lurk the forums with pleasure though, and most of us have a keyboard shortcut that pastes "this is probably because your client hasn't finished the initial blockchain download" Cheesy

Why the Hero members don't seem to respond to too many posts.

When I joined, I was eager to respond often... it was exciting...

recently, I've realized that few make it to that level and once you make it there, you simply lose all interest in the majority of stupidity that is posted here...

and you do not engage in nonsense because it's pointless, waste of time and useless.  stupidity has a way to shake itself out in the long run.

you shake your head and brush it off.  at some point you don't even bother shaking your head. you ignore almost all posts unless they involve Hero members...

Well, you still bothered to write this post though..

Iso a pool that mines stupid forks when profitable and converts to btc

Coinotron does this (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/coinotron-pool-btc-pool-closed-please-withdraw-your-coins-26727), but they are not really stable today and they don't convert to BTC automatically, you can do the conversion yourself through bitparking.

Probably it's more that most people don't make it to hero before growing bored and wandering off than heroes don't want to talk to anyone.

Myself though, I do fall somewhat into the OPs description. I used to have a lot of fun discussing stuff, but over time the same things being repeated over and over have driven me to have less interest in reading/responding. Not that it matters, my opinion won't make or break the forum.

I have no understanding the the different mining cards except what is posted in the wiki.

I do however, help "noobs' when they buy games for BTC.
So, to buy through me...they have to get coins. Smiley

I've pretty much ignore the whole "noobie" section of the forum.
I've noticed I started to ignore the project development section as well, seeing how there isn't many new projects, just ideas.

I would like to see a private section just for Hero (500+) members.
Though, I probably wouldn't post in it.
Would be a good idea to have a trading section for Hero (500+) members.

"hero" just means you have lots of posts, congrats Smiley

I asked stupid questions when i started....lots of ppl do, I now help as much as i can, I am in Bitcoin for Bitcoins future, ignoring ppl (other than trolls) is not good for Bitcoin in the world.

I know a lot of ppl are here to make a quick buck, but some of us see a huge future for Bitcoin.

I will keep answering questions and helping people, noobs or old hands no matter my post count or the "status" it allegedly gives me.
oh and the number of posts doesn't include the quality of those posts - nothing personal against anyone, just how the system is setup...
