I am not a libertarian, I actually do not vote at all. My sympathy is in short supply in this case due to him pimping his wife out. Despicable. You could fix your situation easily, passport + flight to wherever with the money you make from the sale of your stuff would be the right way to go before you would ever stoop to that level.
