Why do they have to lie about something, which is not illegal.
They can say that its a refferal link so it should be PMed and they need to download an app which will be downloaded thru playstore so its safe no need to lie Grin

this can very easily be a scam that is being done with your information, like signing up somwhere with your phone number and scam people then you have to deal with the consequences because it is your information on the line.

That is for sure one from services that after confirmation your phone number they start sending SMS with some stupid informations.. Just that you have to pay for them is not stupid..

Tell us which service/website you use or why you need phone number?
