I think you should go for the bitcoin but for the alt coins or to the alternative coins go or invest through the eth ethereum coins , lite coins. This two is rising like a rocket same as the bitcoin. But I suggest too to look out through different alternative coins , surf through different sites but be ware and be careful some are scam. And well done many people asking through this thread , and try to read as much as you can surely you can learn something new.

That too much coins to hold(50). Anyway, you wanted it but I can say it could be hard for you to manage such numbers of coins.
Many coins under $2 just like XRP could really make you more profit especially you but more on it rather than of having a lot of coins.

It's a difference. If you just want to see how the system here works, just go ahead do some research on some alts and trade them. But otherwise if you really want to start trading/investing you need more capital.

With 100$ you can't buy bitcoin, my suggestion is go for altcoin preferably less price altcoins, don't simply invest in the coins before that see the graph of price variation then you can only decide on which altcoin to invest.

first, you need to go coinmarketcap.com and choose the coin in under $2, then you need to check every coin that has a price in under $2, I think you can find much of coins. ripple, nem, str, dgb, sc, and many more coins is on the list so you can choose every coin to buy. but remember, please do your own research and don't depend on other people because not every suggestion from other people will work best for you.

Try to invest in the coins/tokens that at their early stage and show good growth dynamics.
If we are talking about currency coins, SkyCoin seems to me quite perspective, it has increased from $13 to almost $40 since December, 2017 and it is based on new 3rd generation ledger - SkyLedger, which eliminates the cost of transaction and transactions goes in seconds.
It is only recommendation and my personal point of view. Anyway you should do your own research and decision based on it.
