Surely. i entered the market at its peak.  Cry Cry Cry Cry. i doubt if i will survived this epic move of mine. btc was at 11,000K. i never checked TAs and just entered. i pray i recovered my money back. actually, it was FOMO. to be honest.

It is not peak yet, the bull has just started bitcoin would increase again, after correction, so don't lose hope so soon. Hold your coins and stay calm things would turn around soon.

Just wondering why you only engage yourself now when the coins are in recovery phase?

We've been in bearish market for long time and thats the right timing to enter in the scene.

Well the current value now is $12,500 so you probably earn already. Plan your next move and learn to have an exit plan so you wont end up regretting your actions again.

If you're not selling Bitcoin when the time you buy its you are now gaining a good profit and why youre losing trust to Bitcoin?
This is just the begginning FOMO is good to bring Bitcoin price to its all time high now you learn the best strategy in trading "Holding" and dont quickly enter if you dont know what you do.
Taking your research will help you up not to give that easily, fomo's are always present since there's no real guarantee if where the market will go and which direction it can be anticipated, if you are still on hold then your worries is now being changed to gladness as more fomo's are bringing the market to it's new ride.

In the past Bitcoin has dropped to $3,000 and actually those who buy and hold this year are earning very high profits because it takes only 6 months for you to earn more than 400% in a very short time. Now Bitcoin has reached $13,000 and there is no price that can stop Bitcoin's growth so i believe continue to hold Bitcoin for this time because the price will still rise higher and this is only is the beginning of this market this year

I assumed that the time you bought your btc you're planning to hold them for quite some time. So, your investment is still good as long btc is not dropping below $8,000. No need to worry because btc is expected to reach $20,000 this year. We're only approaching the third quarter of the year.

I think the best you can do now is to hold what you have because new ATH will come this year. Its alright to experience some loses but in that loses we learn to our mistakes or wrong steps. You have many chances to get back your loses.

Just keep the trust, never panicked and stay chilling mate
People's "trust" comes down to what the price is doing. If it goes up they believe that Bitcoin will change the world, but the moment we go down and that for a week or so, they start worrying about Bitcoin's existence.

Despite all our effort to help people achieve the best, they are the ones who have to pull the trigger, but unfortunately, that's mostly at the wrong time. Risking money you can't afford to lose makes people do stupid things.

You have to look at the situation by putting yourself in their position. If you're good with money and risk management it's easy to say stay calm or shill, but they can't do that, not even when you repeat it over and over.

People need to make a mistake or two to learn. Nothing is a better guide to improvement than losing money.
Experience is the best teacher and you are right even no matter how many times we do say they wont still able to listen until they do experience loss of money.

They do believe on what they do currently seeing and when prices goes in opposite way then impressions do the same.Later on they will realize into things that
they are engage to.

Losing is part of trading. Mourn for it within just a few days and get back later on with another lesson.

Checking TA's is not an assurance too that you will win. Basically, I think you are being wrecked because you got overwhelmed by the current trend which is a)usual for new and casual traders ; b)unusual to experienced traders.

OP, no offense, after I read this thread, I went to see your historical post and I saw this

seriously, if you have bought at the price you saw. by now you will have been on 8% profit. as of the time of writing, bitcoin is above 9000k. you should be careful on the market before you loose and make sure you follow your trade to avoid lost.

you gave good advice and then buy bitcoin and come and complain here in the forum that you can lose money because you bought for a very high price? and from what I see you are an investor of altcoins and it is known that altcoins are investments of patience, the person who invested in altcoins must have a lot of patience to hold. How did you panic when you bought bitcoin for a supposedly high price?

Looks like OP is good for giving advice but having difficulty to apply it to himself.

The market is currently on the big hype.

Try not to become overwhelmed.

You still have the bitcoin in your wallet right?so it means that you are not at loss

Remember that our coins stays the volume and the value is the one who’s changing then with that you can be assure of a chance to profit as long as you hold that coins

And besides in just a short period of time we hit $11,000 so what more the $15k to $20k?

Just keep the trust, never panicked and stay chilling mate

You already recovered your money! Do not be stressful brother! Bitcoin can be bought at 15K dollars because it can surpass its ATH every single year. Now, the price of bitcoin is around 11,300 dollars and counting. The increasing of bitcoin may lead to a more profitable day in every hodler like you. Do not think too much! It won't help you at all.
I do like this kind of mind you have @Wallflower28. Did you know we have people that bought Bitcoin around $17,000 in 2017 and are still holding till now? It really depends on how patients we are. If we are patients enough? I do believe that no matter the price we bought it can turn to profits for us in a later date. He his complaining about buying at a wrong time at $11,000 but as at this morning Bitcoin went as high as $11,400 and it is like three days after. If he will still holding he might sell above $20,000 before the end of this year and the only thing he needs is patient.

I thought it was something so serious when I saw your topic, I was thinking you had been scammed, this is a minor thing that I would say you have not made any mistake on, although the only mistake you made was not to wait a bit for the price to be corrected before you invest.

We are already in uptrend and we will continue to grow till we reach ATH, in the next few weeks, I am sure you will be grateful for making this decision. Please I will implore you not to panic even if you see the price go dipper, it is natural and 11k will be retested again, and from that, I think the next target would be $14500. So be patient a little.

Dont be sad. Im sure that the price would still going up because we are only halfway on the peak. The sad part is only yoy earn less than what those people who bought on the lowest value of Bitcoin. If you bought just this time, long term will not applicable. If the price increases again you should sell it to avoid loss. The peak is near this time but i hope it will get higher than 2017.

As expected, price is already back above $11K. I sure hope the OP didn't get shaken out on that little dip! Wink

The parabolic advance is still ongoing. I could see this rally heading above $12K in the short term. Once we break above $11,200 another round of short squeezing and FOMO will begin. Congrats to everyone that managed to hold this long. It's easy to get shaken out in this roller coaster market.

I also want to join the opinion of many and tell you that you really do not need to worry. Bitcoin is only at the beginning of its path. We will see more than one fall and take off. So do not worry and live on, everything will be fine, you will return your money.

What means you got burned? did you bought btc or just made margin trading? if you bought btc maybe it wasn't the smartest move but holding for longterm isn't a bad idea...
if you do margin trading without any strategy and experience.. please stop it. it makes no sense for you, its waste of money.

Yep, if this is a margin trade that's not a particularly wise decision as FOMO usually leads to a bad entry and thus potential liquidation depending on the leverage used if there's no stoploss set for the trade. If this was a non-margined trade, sit back and wait. You're fine if the latter is the case, if it's the former then set an acceptable stoploss, preferably a market stop, and hope you don't get burned from this and learn for next time. You don't always have to be trading, if you are ever unsure then do something else.
