After way to much time mining, I am finally up to .2 btc  Sadly, I still can not find anything that I can buy. Most places still do not accept btc, just lots and lots of online casinos lol.
For me, i prefer to keep it or maybe invest it through a bitfunder for a long term period. Who knows how much USD per BTC would be in the future  Wink

I tried mining all day but I keep getting the hardware error "Invalid nonce"

My mining GPU is a Diamond Radeon HD 6570.  I'm running the latest catalyst drivers on Ubuntu 13.04.

I can't get any shares going because of the errors.  Has anyone else experienced this error and if so, how did you fix it?

Thanks
Maybe try a different miner perhapps?

I tried all the versions from 2.4.x to 3.1.1, but the card keeps getting the hardware error.  I figure it's the driver so I'm downloading the legacy driver.  Hopefully it works out!  My little bro's bitmining now and his radeon 7700 handles mining like a champ.
I'm having this same issue on my HD 5770.  Ubuntu 13.04 only works with the 13.3-beta3 cataylst drivers but when I try it, I get the "invalid nonce" error too.  This system is dual boot, so I booted to Win7 and found that I also get mining errors with the latest catalyst driver, but when I use catalyst 11.11 and Win7, it works.  I can't simply revert the drivers on my Ubuntu install though.  I find that it will not load the catalyst 11.11 driver.

After wasting a few hours on this, I'm just going to give up.  This card is too old to be worth the effort.  I'll get a newer card soon (not primarily for mining), preferably one where the latest linux drivers actually work.

Well it's a start, I usually pay 0.0005 in transaction fee for a transfer though.  Just keep feeding your wallet and it will grow.

I dont have my address on a hard copy so i have it online at coinbase.com they charge more per transaction but at least when my PC crashes i dont loose the BTc! Cheesy

You could always keep an encrypted copy on a USB? That'd make you pretty safe.

Personally, I don't trust online wallets, and only keep minimal amounts stored in them. I like the convenience of Coinbase on my Android, because most of the other wallet apps crash constantly.
