Pretty damning evidence if you ask me.  The accused has not even defended it.  It seems like he has decided to give himself a short term, interest free loan?

Is it a scam if he ends up giving the money back? Probably, marginally not, but I would be surprised at who would ever want to deal with him again without escrow.

ntz, it seems like you'll get your money back, but your shady friend just needed an infusion of cash for a short period of time?

WuLabsWuTecH thank you but nothing happened so far i mean ... no btc back or ripples

I do it because I want to.

That's perfectly reasonable (and I wasn't questioning your reasons but the OP's reasons).
People can do whatever they want, I don't care much about their reasons.
But I do care (or rather, I am wondering) when people are inconsistent.
If I want to play a risky game, I have to accept that I could lose or that someone cheats on me.
If I don't want to be cheated, then I choose a safe game (escrow, atomic transactions etc).
So if I want to buy XRP with BTC, I could risk trading with someone who offers an exchange rate that is too good to be true, or I could go through a gateway who would risk their reputation if they scammed people, and use the market within ripple.

linuxer is trying to sell to me now.... scammer

Implying i didn't seen this thread and your rate was damn good.

So what exactly are you doing about this situation?

He's crying, i am letting him cry for some time.

I don't know what you mean? Are you planning on resolving the problem?

yes but not so soon.

How long is that going to be though? Why not try to resolve it as early as possible. When you are dealing with others in future will use the search function and find this thread. With you're attitude at the moment they will more than likely not trade with you.
Why? because even if you do resolve the problem eventually, you made it very hard for the other party.
Obviously, if you do resolve the issue, then that's better than nothing. But, why make such a big deal about it and wait? why not contact the OP, and solve this.

Their btc IOUS

I know.
But if you don't want to deal with IOUs or don't trust a BTC gateway such as bitstamp or dividendrippler you just shouldn't deal with ripple.
