It's funny reading all these posts to this thread.

He never claimed to have lost 700BTC.  He said the scammer has his BTC in an address that has 700BTC.

Funnier is the number of people that believe 'hacking' a private key from the public address is even possible.  If it were, even for a single address, then everyone would be doing it to become instant billionaires.  Of course, bitcoin would be worthless instantly.

Oh that is bad luck. I am sorry you where hacked. If you ever decide to invest in cryptos I recommend AML BitCoin. This is the only crypto that cannot be stolen.

There is a hacker called 4chan that is rumored to be able to do this... you would have to ask on that forum though...

Sorry unfortunately nothing can be done.  If this was the case everyone would steal the mt gox fund with thousands of bitcoins, simply not possible which is actually a good thing.  Sorry for your loss.

If you can hack the private key of an address, the same power is enough to dig for hundreds of millions of years of mine...!
The Bitcoin distribution system ensures that it cannot be monitored, isolated, or destroyed by governments, organizations, or hackers, thus ensuring the reliability and anonymity of the system.

Unfortunately the things you want to do can not be possible. It is merely impossible to hack into other's wallet even if you have thousands computers. I am sorry for your loss. But you can investigate on who did this.

Once a man, twice a child!
I got scammed out of my bitcoin. I have located the Bitcoin address where the ass hat is holding all of his/her/their coins. Its in excess of ~700btc. I would like to find a way to crack his the public key for the private key and then donate the coinage to ~700 random peeps in this community. I did not loose a lot but I'm way more talented that rich. And I have access to a server farm (in which I have permission to use unused resources - greater than 100 machines).
Is the OP talking about losing 700 in btc, Mbtc or bits? I don't get the ~700 stuff or is he just bush talking here? Oh, he is even a noob here so he may not know that the forums doesn't tolerate fairy tales.

IF anyone has attempted this before, it would be greatly appreciated. There is a TON of into out there but I cannot decipher what is the correct method to use.

No, if you can get his private key or you can access the hackers wallet, its mean you can hack all of peoples bitcoin wallet.
and 700 btc, are you sure about that ? if i have many btc in my wallet, i will place them in many wallets, not only a single wallet.

New account..
Claiming he/she has loss 700 bitcoins.
Saying he wanted to help crack that wallet.
Tells he/she is willing to distribute it to random people in the community.
.
I guess we have all the spices needed.
Keep away from this person.
Because for me this doesnt seem to be legit at all.
Imagine accumulating 700 bitcoins which he claims just as a small amount for him but doesnt know how to safeguard a wallet.
My hands are up.

Give that dude the thing he deserve it's not a good work to scam someone. Doing things like that for me is just for weak so give hime the reward he deserves. Make him pay for what he do and at the same time your focus is to get your own back. Get back what is yours and teach that scammer a lesson he will never forget.

When something advertises risk-free money, it's an obvious scam, why the hell would somebody need money when they know the bulletproof way to make money?

This should be a lesson for everybody that still falls for those scams.

Ps, you should open a topic in Scam Acusations with all the datails, maybe it will prevent further incidents.
I do accept completely that the things offered for free almost ended up being a scam or at least milking something from you, either your identification details or something else.
One thing i would like to hear from the OP is that, since he knows where the coin is, he must post the wallet address so that everyone can monitor, as everyone said, no one has hacked it, so what ever your plan is, that is not going to work and since you have that much amount of coins your should have known better.  Roll Eyes

A fully new account claiming to have had 500 btc, but possibility doesn't know enough space getting scammed. Also,I thinking you could do bad things with only 50 or more miners. You're going to need a lot more than that. That is sure 500 btc.
