I don't see how anyone can argue that the USA is capitalist when 50 cents out of every dollar goes to some kind of tax. Federal income tax, state income tax, sales tax, fuel tax, property tax, etc.
It's pretty silly to say that most countries are purely capitalist, Ron Paul said it best, they're corporatist, our governments work with corporations and do everything for the benefit of organised groups, mainly because that's the way they can get the biggest chunk of the vote and people they know will vote for them, so the church, unions, corporations themselves among others, they're all voting blocs that do mob voting and that's how the politicians win in this system.

I have to agree, Brazilian situation is probably because of the corruption at a massive scale and as far as I know they've always been pretty far from a capitalist society.

I believe that with the ability to stop being cubically contained, I would also return at least part of your investment toward the good of the world by having the time to actually do something worthwhile. Money gives one the freedom of time. Like everyone without wealth, I spend most of my time as a servant to those that have wealth. I believe that I would use my expanded free time toward things that might make the future better for those that follow me.

Exactly. I've been to India and seen the same thing, but it wasn't caused by capitalism, it was caused by the entrenched belief system that you were meant to be where you were born based on karma (caste system). The reason the rich get richer is because we keep playing their game. If the OP is really "cubically contained" then it's his fault the rich are so rich. Cut your job and get some hair man!
