I'd suggest investing at https://cryptostocks.com, you can buy shares in bitcoin mining companys, such as Bitsmith Virtual Mining, and double your amount of bitcoins in a year Smiley

I heard peercoins are also somewhat decent probably not as good as litecoins or dogecoins but still might be worth checking out.

Wooo got some litecoins now Smiley

Good Luck OP.

Just a kindly reminder, be extra careful before investing into other altcoins (other than litecoin), as the price movement maybe mainly driven by pump and dump, and the price can go up / down 50+% a day.

But how do we know that bitcoin won't break in the next 2 years. It could be worth nothing by then

Try to find something profitible and invest some of it into it save the rest for a few years and you may very well have yourself a decently sized nest egg

Take that .5 btc and back it up offline in a paper wallet or .dat file somewhere, and put it somewhere safe. check back in 2 years. DO NOT spend those Bitcoins on some lesser altcoin, don't trust someone in a trade here, don't buy mining equipment or rent hash power, just sit on the damn thing and forget about it.

Trade it for what you believe. If you do not have coin that bought your heart and you are lame in investing mater just WAIT. Backup your wallet and forget. Back in 5 years.
