Even if the op has made this thread 3 years ago, people can advice and read the best investments ways nowadays, thats why this thread keeps alive. Atleast i do believe people are doing those, trading had become a problem since the market doesnt know how to react to bitcoin dump, it were to altcoins grow stronger but didnt happenet, soo maybe hold your bitcoins its the best option.
you guys do realize that this was posted almost a year ago and that the person is very likely not still looking for an answer. the op was very likely not even true, just a poster posing a question to get a thread going, if it was true, then the coins are either invested, gone or serving another purpose.
i am amazed at how many threads way out of date still get attention several times a day. people still respond to the cryptsy lock down thread more than ten times a week. do you guys meet in person with your friends and start talking about the OJ Simpson trial?

Advice, tips, speculation please.
Split them into 3 part of investment1. Invest it on ico where you can get profit after the ico ends
2. Invest it on Casino Bank Roll even you get low percentage atleast you have per month
3. Trading buy some altcoins that has potential to grow all altcoins has a potential to grow but depends on the volume.
You can start trading by investing some btc in a altcoin. But better do a market survey about that altcoin knowing its founder, its investors, its market cap. Maximum invest in a altcoin which has survived for atleast two years as most of newly launched coins are scam. Avoid gambling sites which would give you a huge loss. Avoid investing in cloud mining sites also as it is turning to be big scam mostly.
I agree with you. With 12 btc, He can get good profit although he sells altcoin when a slightly higher price than the price when he bought it. You should not invest it at all because why should you, with holding it for a long term you can maybe become a rich man.
If i have 12Btc. I will keep 7btc in cold case. That's kind a invest coz bitcoin will rise after this month just a guess but power guess

Guys keep in mind that all the suggestions given by above members might involve personal interest too, like a ponzi owner would say invest under me. So the best way to make money is just by holding them for selling at right time.
If a ponzi owner dared to show his face here, it will probably be negged to oblivion or at least he will get rebuked for trying to scam people here in the forum, there are some scammers in the forum but many members are actively fighting against them.

By now, I bet that you have already converted your bitcoin in fiat because bitcoins price was $1100 which gave you a very large profit if you hold your 12 BTC and you have waited this moment. 12 BTC is a huge money, and if you still want to invest it, I suggest that you must withdraw your fiat and invest on the bank than to invest your bitcoin on HYIPs, which, you will just ended up being scam.

Maybe invest them something like on btcpop.co, if you like to take risks. Just try to find a loan that will be most certainly paid back.
They have a really nice looking site which works really well, also you can invest "anonymously" so no need to send any kind of documents when investing.

I would not at all invest it because of the fact that you can already make good profits with 12 bitcoin itself.
12 btc is a huge amount. I suggest keep those 12 btc and wait for bitcoins price become $1,500 don't invest it dude to lessen the risk keeping the bitcoins are one of safest way of investment.
Most of your bitcoins keep it as comodity just for hoarding but keep in mind that savings will not bring any substantial profit. Rest of them use it in trading with alt coins. Not all of altcoins are bad. There are some of them very promising. Monero and dash some of my preferred choices.
