LTC will never be traders's major coin like BTC is at the moment. As a matter of fact, no coin will replace BTC. Bitcoin had at least 15M$ of daily volume after the Gox. And it is 200-500M$/24h lately. It is the main beast.

On the other hand, Litecoin had tiny 2-4M$/24h volume for the most of its lifespan till now and suddenly people found the meaning of life with LTC and drove it to 150m$/24h volume. When the hype is over, it will go back where it was before. If you haven't bought when it was 4$, don't buy now because you may be the last one whos buying before everyone starts selling. Cool

I believe that there are many investors of full LTC in their pockets. Perhaps They bought it from this early year with 4$-5$ price so They will be very rich if this coin hit 15$-25$ in next month. LTC will be hottest coin in this year .

As much i know this price increase is due to segwit implementation and if it gets success then we can expect the price 10 times more and even ETH and DASH will be in danger as most of them will shift to LTC

But still I cannot see the reason to add Segwit to the Litecoin network except for testing method in Bitcoin sake. Litecoin as stated is already fast, great for micro transaction for a time being until it become expensive (as what most of the holders are hoping). But sure hype is strong so the price reflects it. Though it is kinda entertaining to watch this coins fluctuation.

Wow, that is indeed an interesting perspective.
Im not bought into LTC nowadays, which I really regret Sad

About 3-4 months ago, I have bought around 40 LTC, but mainly for gambling purposes. I just wanted to play a little bit on a different currency.
I made it up to something like 70 ltc, and cashed them 3 days after, when the LTC price has risen a little bit.
If I would still hold these LTC... I bought them for like 0.0035/0.004 each. and now they are so expensive, wow.

the increasing ltc is not too high although we can see the price is increase but i think the price will be more than that but yes its need a times before increase more. its good if you have full of LTC in your wallet and i think you need to wait for another high price. if the market is good and many people trade btc-ltc then i think it will be increase in 24 hours later.
