I looked through that list on Newegg a few weeks ago & found a Sapphire 380 4gig for $194.99,they offered a free game (nothing to me),but they offered a $20 gift certificate(we have a winner!!!).

So after I bought it I got 3 day shipping for $4.99,total=$199.98,after gift certificate =$179.98  Cool

It mines stock at 20-22mhs at 57c fan at 80%.ROI in about 2 months (with my paid off 7970 helping)  Wink

I don't see spending $250-350+ on a card ATM,the mhs per dollar is what I used to decide on the 380 (bang for the buck).

The 380 at $180= $8.18 per mhs....the 390 at $390=$12.58 per mhs,so it's up to you which is a better deal  Wink

3 bitcoin is about $1250. So you can buy 3 R9 390 and other components to mine the Ethereum.

you can not, 3 390 alone cost around 1k, and the psu cost 250 at least, so you need other 250....

Start with 2x390 and make some profit. Use the profit to buy another 390. And increase the farm this way.

AMD R9 390 has 8 GB memory, so it could be useful in the future mining. But the ROI might be longer than cheaper cards.

Do you have any dual or quad core,8gig ram PC's (parts) layin around with a 750 watt psu Huh

If so you just need a vid card or two  Grin

Here's a good list to look for a card :

anyway this is my daily usage computer maybe i will use it for mining
ASRock Motherboard Fatal1ty B150 Gaming K4/D3 + I5 6400 + ram corsair 4gb + FSP aurum 700watt 80+gold
must i upgrade my ram ? PSU ?
before buying new VGA for mining

i will use my old cpu ddr2 to daily usage

and which algo can i mining with gpu...?

Ram is good, have to see what vid cards you get,but that 700 watt PSU should be good for up to 3 midgrade cards (not the 290,390,7990 kind, only maybe 2 of those).

If you can build a PC from free scraps, like I did & do,you just buy a vid card...you can always sell it & get alot of your money back later on  Cool

You have to do the homework, there are sooo many coins to mine, but which one will make a profit...is anyone's guess  Shocked

Keep looking in this forum for GPU only coins,Eth is good ATM...x11 coins...x13 coins...many others...google is your friend in this too  Wink

I would think if you have no prior knowledge on how mining equipment works, then I would suggest that you buy a pre-configured system so that will simplify things to get you going.
Then once you get the hang of it to upgrade parts on it to tweak it so to have it running at it maximum capacity.

so you have roughly $1275 USD. Ethereum is obviously profitble but with growing difficulty and the looming POS I wouldn't recommend going for a cost effective Eth rig like 280x or 270x. I think you would benefit from a more well rounded 3 GPU rig that can has well on other algos. Research R9 290x(great for ethereum) or GTX 970 Strix edition, can find them both used-refurbed-new from $300-$400 grab 3 of those, a MOBO with at least 3 PCI-e slots, most likely 3 risers depending on the board. Mediocre CPU (no more than $50). 50gb-100gb HDD/SSD. And windows if you are going that route. It would be cutting it close on budget, but I think you would benefit more from that more than say a 6 280x refurbed rig.
