how bright was the light? lol

Very bright. As in, a bright idea. Bitcoin is a bright idea which will enlighten the world.

Meh, bitcoins have some nice features, but they are still limited to a very small number of transactions (relative to the total number of transactions made globally), and the massive size of the ever-expanding blockchain seems like an inelegant solution.

See, website around bitcoins can't even keep themselves running. Like when SatoshiDice had its domain registration expire. There are so many people who can't even keep their websites running that it is dragging down bitcoins and the price will continue to slide downward.

Bitcoin is bigger than any one website. As bitcoin expands it brings higher and higher quality people into the community. Even though some sites are failures, others will take their place. The survival of the fittest.

giving an address over the phone is almost impossible.

If I knew I had to tell someone an address over the phone, I'd first hit up btc.to or pay.btc with some easy to remember (and vocalize) link.

Firstbits would be great for this.

I can't get to either of those sites right now - payb.tc has apparently expired and firstbits.com timed out.

Well the ultimate mission for usability
Is to ensure even grandma can use it Smiley

No one teach the knowledge about money in school, no books tell either, most of the people have zero knowledge about money and how it works

That is a sad truth

Don't worry, When Bitcoin is full blown and one would worth hundreds of thousands of dollars it would be easy to use as you would be a grandad Tongue.

Just kidding, Bitcoin is the future <3

AMEN TO THAT

I believe Ann Rand shed a few woods over this (in the book: Atlas Shrugged).

Cool story bro.

The bible says that money is the root of all evil.

Quote that? I believe it actually says the love of money is the root of all evil.

New International Version (©2011)
"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.

II have seen this misquoted so many times.  The LOVE of money is the root of ALL KINDS of evil, not all evil.

Money is not evil in itself but I think everyone could agree that loving it can lead to some serious problems for sure.

I believe Ann Rand shed a few woods over this (in the book: Atlas Shrugged).

Smoothie, your smoothie appears to be growing feathers - I thought you were all about the LTC?

Well if I was all about LtC I would not be here....hence about btc and other cryptos.

Soon you will see an ltc based project I will be releasing that I've been working on for a while now.

 Cheesy

Consider my interest piqued!

Firstbits would be great for this.

This is what I see in this thread:

BULL: I think bitcoins are great and can't wait until the rest of the growing world accepts them. Yay!

BEAR: Not! See look at my FUD look F-U-D...see three letters that you need to know bitcoin is going to crash! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

LOLz so funny to watch sometimes.

I think you got the colors reversed. Red should be Bears and blue or green should be the Bulls.

But aren't real life bulls associated more with the color red than blue?

No, the bull-fighters wear red or something, so the people fighting the bulls should be writing in red to taunt them.
