Hi,

don't get me wrong, my first intension is not about profit. I want to do what brings me joy and joy brings me mostly to open up new possibilities, free or paid. I want to help this community growth in every possible way. If everything about Bitcoin was already invented, good. If there's something which I could be part of, I want to be in.

So my question is if there is something the Bitcoin industry is missing? What new service/product would you personally welcome to help you in some way?

you can creat an algo that can never be broke by others, if you can do this, you are a genius.

I have the opposite dilemma, I have several ideas but limited funds and programming skills. PM me if your interested in possibly collaborating on a project. You can check out my site, it's the one idea that was actually manageable at my skill set.

Would really like to see a peer-2-peer game developed where people can put bitcoins on the result. Even if it were a basic game like Chess or Checkers. It would make a great alternative to all these sites about dice!

What about BitPay? I think it's worldwide service, but I could be wrong.

Bitpay helps businesses to accept Bitcoin, but it doesn't help consumers to spend Bitcoin at retailers or service providers that don't accept Bitcoin yet (the vast majority). I think more gateways like Gyft are needed to make Bitcoin really useful to the average consumer.

In the US there are options - If I were in the US I could live in Bitcoin, using BTC via Gyft at Sears, Whole Foods, Home Depot etc. But only in the US atm.

So my question is if there is something the Bitcoin industry is missing? What new service/product would you personally welcome to help you in some way?

More options and easier ways to pay in Bitcoin, open to consumers worldwide. For example gyft.com is a cool and easy way to use Bitcoin at Sears, Whole Foods and many other chains, but unfortunately it's only available in the US. I think this is what Bitcoin needs for real mass adoption.

Another suggestion: BitWrk is looking for volunteers! It's a Bitcoin-driven, open marketplace for computing power, where everybody can be a buyer and a seller. BitWrk has its roots in this forum. It is currently in development, but it is definitely not vaporware, as proved by yesterday's test.

There are a lot of opportunities to contibute to BitWrk:
  • Development work on the main software. Like to try developing in Go?
  • Setting up a good-looking, extensible and maintainable home page.
  • Enhancing the integration of Blender.
  • Integrating more compute-intensive software products. E.g., there are lots and lots of ray-tracers around! There is an opportunity to share revenue.
  • Providing tutorial videos.
  • Providing the community with news and support.
  • Last but not least: Just setup your server to do Blender rendering for others will make the BitWrk service more useful for users, right now!

That's just what comes to my mind.

Disclosure: I am the founding developer of BitWrk.

Thank you, this is what I've needed, I'll definitely think about it,

Any more suggestions, someone?
