I'm not sure, I share a house with 3 other people and we usually just split the bill. I discussed it with a housemate today, and apparently we prepay electricity - some strange UK thing - so it's hard to monitor precisely.

I started "hobby mining" in April this year, and then started to build a proper rig. Now I have a 4 GH/s ASIC rig, and today I received a payment that completed a full Bitcoin for the first time.

Old sucky 2.5" HD from my old laptop (get this: I tried using an SSD but it kept shutting down after a few days of mining)
4 Gb RAM
3 x Anker Uspeed USB 3.0 10-Port Hub
12 x USB Erupters - 335 MH/s each
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, and BFGMiner connected to the BTC Guild mining pool.
I'm getting 4 GH/s, which means about 0.04 BTC per day at the current difficulty. This week I'm expecting to get another 18 erupters, which will kick me up to 10 GH/s so that will mean 0.1 BTC per day on average (until difficulty changes again).
