If you mortgage your house at $1, then it is a good decision. If you borrow money now to buy Ethereum, it might not be a good idea.

Well, if you have something else to "live" (I mean, if you have a fund reserved) or some other place, maybe you're doin' a great deal. But if ETH enters in a bubble time, you will want to kill youself, I mean, if it falls to U$1 like three months ago.

Well people have risked and gambled a lot and when times are hard they will go to even more desperate measures. Ideally you have to go with your gut but like any investor would tell you, don't always put all your eggs into one basket but that's just me talking from an investment point of you.

I'm a father of 1 with another 1 on its way
I've been watching some of Vitalik's videos. He is just amazing. I have a really good feeling about Ethereum. I just mortgaged my house to buy a lot of the Ethereum gas. I showed my wife the video's and she says that if I can understand it then it's probably a good idea. While I'm a little nervous about losing everything, I needed to find someway to pay for my children's future. How high do you guys think Ethereum will go? I'm not crazy am I?

You guys will be much better off buying XMR in my opinion.
Obviously I want to congratulate all of those people who have purchased ETH last year, now it is better to diversify into XMR. Just make a good plan (like sell 5 % of your eth on daily basis to buy xmr). The supply of Monero starts to be pretty dry these days so the price will be pretty high.
Some of Etherium community are already buying Moneros with their profits.

Buying Ethereum is ok, but mortgaging your home for it, is not wise.
You might be having a different risk taking capability than me, but still, giving away your home just to buy crypto coins, may be fatal.
