You should never sell, and less at this price. I am glad that you didn't do that, otherwise you could be fucked.

The price will go up, you do not need to worry about that.. And yes, the incredible amount of sellers in here is incredible.
Just kidding. At under 10k, it's a steal!
We might have another wave of panic-selling, according to the TA, which would bring us to $9k or lower, and then we'll follow up with a recovery to 5-digits again, and take off after that.

f you stay here you will be fucked to death, and nobody here will care, much of BITCOIN is just about people stealing from the weak, like this HODL bullshit, where your supposed to hold on to a rock while it sinks,

R these PUMPERS going to be there for you when your broke? Hell no,

Most of the pumpers on this forum are bots, and they're ran by the exchanges to get the idiots to keep day trading

ALL EXCHANGES = WE'RE CLOSING OUR EXCHANGES BECAUSE WE'RE GETTING TOO MANY NEW USERS!!! NICE SCAM SCHEME

HHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Dont listen to this Troll.

I can not understand why everybody is selling right now, THIS IS JUST A PERFECT TIME TO BUY.

I have already bought 1 bitcoin today, and i am buying a bunch of altcoins at this moment, everything is extremely cheap and this really makes me happy.

The answer to this is relatively simple, most of the people selling right now were never convinced about bitcoin and were looking to make some quick money, when they realized they could not do that they sold for a loss, this is why they are called weak hands and the more popular bitcoin becomes the more weak hands we are going to have and that will make bitcoin even more volatile.

We might have another wave of panic-selling, according to the TA, which would bring us to $9k or lower, and then we'll follow up with a recovery to 5-digits again, and take off after that.

TA shows this is a very healthy consolidation, and that we will never be sub 10k again.. at least not for a long time after this.

Mark my words... a few more days, with possibly one or more waves of panic-sells, but then we will go back up!

HODL on.

That has happened, briefly last night, I missed it! I bought quite a bit of one very special alt coin I don't wish to mention (haha) but will share later once the jinx period's gone. Wish I could have been awake when BTC went down below 10k, since I saw all alts also fell to very low floors. Nevertheless, still happy I made that buy, and very happy for the opportunity provided by this correction.

Definitely still a few more dips to eat into, so maybe I'll run out of BTC to buy into alts.

you are right except for the part about the recovery
But, I feel he is very right in every part except the subject of this topic. Recovery is inevitable but we cannot be sure when it will take place. I am somewhat confident before end of this month we can see bitcoin prices to start flying again toward 30k dollars as I am believing 100k dollars as year end target price levels.

Having more patience and waiting for bitcoins to bounce must be a right options in front of all the bitcoiners. But I am not seeing this action with most of them as market still face huge selling pressures.

So you think the price is going to triple in 13 days? Why on earth would you think that? Especially given the very real fundamental problems with bitcoin's transaction times and fees, the competition from superior alt coins, and the crack downs by governments? Seems to me like it is very unlikely to recover any time soon, until these problems are solved (if they ever are).

You got me there I thought you really sold all your bitcoins. But you're right not that a steal but it's a win if you have bought it under $10k and much better if you got some at $9,000. I'm counting on you and good thing that we are many here who are discussing positively with this correction. I also saw the same thing few years ago so I didn't panic at all. I regret before when I panic after I sold all my bitcoins before it pumped more than x4.

I think we should wait until we figure out what happened with all this crash. If you already panicked don't regret it if bitcoin price bounce back again to next highest price in history.
Bitcoin has been up and down the price, so we should hold for it will recover. Yes even if others says a crash happened and many got panic, in this situation the good thing to do is to hold. Yes when you check the charts bitcoin is always go back to rise so I hold for now.

Grin You almost got me there mate and I was really ready to tongue lash you for doing such until I read your post. However, I would not be surprised some people actually did this which to me is one of the craziest thing to do. Anyone who could not sell at the top and buy back from dip should not even bother at all selling at dips. Market is going to be gaining momentum anytime from now, so better to brace up.

As long as what you did was according to your plan and not because of panic, then it's fine.. You also need to plan a good entry again.

Almost right. This is the once in a lifetime opportunity to buy bitcoin, or else in a month bitcoin will shoot up to $20000. Better hold your coins if you have or buy bitcoins if you have sufficient money. Never expect this price in bitcoin further.

I'm relieved, when I read the title of the thread I thought another person that is going to regret selling his bitcoin for a bad price but after reading the OP you made the right decision, right now the right call is to hold and if you can afford it then buy even more bitcoin, for some newbies it may be difficult to hold with these losses but once you get used to it then you do not think too much about the price volatility.

It's happening the prices are rising again i feel i should just quit my job and start trading , i mean if i put $4k yesterday i would literally have $8k now. Btc can change many people's life even know through trading , i was against the idea of making a living from trading but instances like these makes me feel that a person can easily live atleast for 6 months assuming he actually makes profit and doesn't end up gambling his profit.

Why panic, I'm sure that the price will again be good, you just have to wait out this period and bitcoin will return to its place

For those who already experience the corrections of bitcoin in the past at least didn't panic but for those who are pretty new in the crypto scene would be in panic mode because maybe they bought bitcoin when it is near all time high or even got in when it is all time high so it is devastating in their part. They can relax if it is money that they can afford to lose but if not then then that would be bad news. It would be better if you always have a fiat available in case something like this happens so that you can buy more and in effect you can average down.

Yeah, that's why I didn't sell them. This crash was too FUD-focused, and the wall streeters were shorting.

So there was no reason for the price to go so low, AKA FUD-focused.

Hodl it is the best thing to do, Panic can’t help us now. Just relax and wait for the big bounce back of bitcoin price because for sure it will come. We know bitcoin is normally has its dropped-downs and bounced backs that is already proven from the beginning of its existence.
