The limitation comes from the network propagation time, unless all the nodes upgrade their network to Gigabyte network, there is really not a lot that you can do with a hard fork. Presently most of the nodes are running on much slower network

I think we can also safely tell that satoshi works on principles, he doesn't seem like the type of guy to harm the community for selfish gain after he has been so selfless for so long.

You're being ignorant.

I notice more and more of these types of post (drivel) from people with the dice signature, so much so that I think it is starting to reflect badly on the sponsor.

Neither the OP nor anyone above your post has a paid signature (unless somebody removed theirs?).

Satoshi is floating on a cloud of smug. That or he's despairing at the beast that he has created.

I reckon he's died of a smug overdose. I wonder how he (or they) feel about how Bitcoin has been accepted or used. What if he is disgusted by the beast he has created and decides to dump all his coins like a cointroll for laugh?

Maybe this was his plan all along? Maybe he's an epic troll in it for the longcon? lol

It's the smug life for Satoshi. I do wonder what would happen if he did try to dump them. I mean the exchanges account for only a small fraction of the BTC currently in circulation. Bag holders who aren't on the exchange are doing their part for the value.

Satoshi is dead

what does that mean? Im intrigued. why do you think hes dead. Im sure there are some good arguments.. Maybe thats why he hasn't sold any of his bitcoins. Maybe thats why he handed over to Gavin, because he was terminally ill?

Its a gripping mystery and we are lucky enough to be living through it. Happy ending or tragedy it will be a film one day so soak it up you are part of this drama.

Nope, here is the truth! Grin

Hey that's not very nice he made a long and thoughtful post just because you disagree with him doesn't mean he or anyone else is ignorant. Remember those who call others ignorant are usually the most ignorant of all the people they call ignorant.

satoshi is not coding bitcoin

try researching better before opening topics of speculation.

atleast look at the programmers in bitcoin foundation EG Gavin. look at what they are doing to ensure a stable bitcoin future.

Sounds like good advice.  As a newbie I have been somewhat alarmed at the recent 51% crisis and would like to follow what is being done to prevent future problems such as this threat and the scaling problem mentioned here. However, I have just been to the foundation site and could not find any place where they were discussing what is being done to address any potential problems.  What am I missing?  Can you provide a link where I can find this info?  Many thanks for any info.  Smiley

That statement is meaningless without giving a reason for the flaw in my logic.
