Patience is needed everywhere, either in gambling, real-life business, or crypto. You can't exclude patience anywhere. However, I don't support gambling; it's highly risky for anyone. Crypto trading is the best for those of us who are well familiar with Bitcoin. It doesn't matter if gambling is good or bad, but a major percentage of people have been losing to gambling. In trading, there is a good chance to make money if you can learn. Though any investment in crypto is risky too, you aren't going to lose everything. Like the Bitcoin price drop, you will still hold whatever you have. A value drop doesn't mean you lost your holding. The value would recover anytime for Bitcoin. So I would advise learning more about trading instead of focusing on gambling.
I totally agree with you, patience is the most important thing that people should hesitate to include either in businesses, gambling or even in crypto-currencies. If someone doesn't have patience in their life, that means the person will lose enough on anything that includes money making. Although gambling is not a good thing people should be addicted to, there are other people who have the chances of luck at gambling as it is said that gambling is for fun. If a gambler gambles for fun every day, that person will end up being an addicted gambler and, at that period, the gambler will no longer play gambling for fun but sees gambling as a side hustle.
Bitcoin trading is just another form of gambling, but people who are addicted to Bitcoin trading will not agree to it. The same way people lose from gambling, that's the same way people also lose from Bitcoin trading, but if anyone has enough patience, that person can invest in Bitcoin for a long period and make his profits.
Whether one is trading Bitcoin or gambling, patience is a necessary virtue in finance. Although its interesting, comparing Bitcoin trading to gambling isn't totally realistic. Why? Because unlike gambling, which is entirely dependent on chance, Bitcoin is rooted in market dynamics despite its volatility. Still, you make a valid point: addiction to either can result in financial devastation.
The key is this: knowledge is just as important as patience. Trading Bitcoins requires knowledge of market movements and associated dangers. Waiting is not enough; making wise decisions is also important. Indeed, chance plays a part, but doesnt that apply to the majority of life's endeavors? What is the main distinction? Unlike gambling, where the only thing that matters is the roll of the dice, Bitcoin allows us to use analysis and strategy. Therefore, lets not mistake investing with thrill-seeking. In Bitcoin trading, the winning trinity is patience, expertise, and strategy.
