Boston versus Los Angeles has been a battle in basketball longer than we can know but honestly anyone who thinks Rams would win this game haven't watched Pats all year. I know how Tom Brady is still kicking ass is weird for people but they have a lot of great younger players.

Don't get me wrong before this year Pats had as much losses as their wins on Super bowl so its not like every time they go to finals they win but they have more Superbowl wins than la has been on Superbowl so they lack the experience by a big big margin. Betting 30 thousand dollars on rams shows kind of how reckless and not caring of a person when it comes down to it. If you bet 30 thousand dollars you already are saying you either have an addiction or you are rich, if you bet on Rams with that money tough, that just shows how "fun" it is for you and nothing major.

This sucks, $30,000 lost because I bet on the rams. UGH

I know its not much but still sucks the rams offense is so shit, only scored 3 points, un fucking believable.
$30,000 is not much?  You should be extremely rich and may have made Alot of money through gambling and betting.  It is a huge amount of money to some of us and those that comes from third world countries will see this amount as a very huge amount.

$30,000 was already a large amount of money for me that I can't even imagine losing up something like that because I can already buy all my needs with those amount you have just spend for a bet. But it seems you are not regretting that much for your lost maybe you are a rich man to spend that amount of money for a bet. You are playing with no control and not thinking of how much money you have already lost. Even I do have a lot of money like you, I will really spend that much for a game because its ridiculous. That is why whenever I am playing into the online casino i am currently into, I only place on small bets just to enjoy myself playing with the variety of games they have because spending lot of money is not already good for a game because its a waste of resources since there is always a big possibility of lost that wins.

Almost i do read up on this thread telling that $30k is a big amount but OP do tell that this isnt much for him.So, it doesnt matter he do lost it up but the thing here is that
making that single bet believing that it would be 100% precise win but well we do know gambling that it can turn the results upside down on we least expected.

Well, that's indeed not that big money, but if I were you, I wouldn't do a single bet for the whole amount. I'd rather split it in three parts like: $20k for Superbowl, $5k for slots and $5k for dice - more chances to win and more fun. Though, just my preferences, you must be a big fan of football. Smiley

Lol. I would only bet that huge amount if i'm really sure about winning. Though you placed that big a bet so probably you can afford to lose that much as well. I know a lot of people also lost simply because they're betting against tom brady winning another bowl lol.

It's not much? Maybe for you it's not much but for a lot of people it is a huge amount mate. Feeling sad that you have lost such a big amount. Anyway, I do not think it is wise decision to bet such a huge amount on a single bet.

This is why mindsets are like the time, relative.

I agree that taking a set amount of money and splitting it into smaller bets can end up being more fun, since he says it's not much it was done for fun of course.

In this case for example, what about doing three bets of $10k or six bets of $5?. You end up having more fun with the exact same amount of money.

Damn, $30k on a single bet? That's a lot of money for a single bet, you know. Some of us could make a living already with that kind of money.
I know what you feel dude but to think that you bet that kind of amount, you must be richy rich.
I wonder if it is fiat or crypto that OP is using as i am curious too that would like to see some details. Cheesy

30k is a very big amount, Players who have can afford to gamble with this kind of money, probably don't need more money:)
Most of the players I know, would be happy 24/7 for the next 365 days if they won what you bet on that game.

Anyway, Sorry to heat about your loss, never fun to loose no matter what the amount is.

Its all relative, people like Michael Jordan used to bet 50k-100k on simple golf games.  What really matters is what percentage of your total net worth you are risking on a bet.  Same goes for donating to charity, people make a big deal when someone like Jeff Bezos donates 20 million dollars but that is a stupidly low amount of his overall net worth.

many people seem to have made the wrong bet this time. But if he's that casual with $30,000, no big deal.
I’m sure he does because he speaks as not a big deal losing that amount and what he is more concern about Rams losing over tom Brady and the gang which make him feel very sudden

But for us whos just living a normal,we are more affected by that large amount though for sure i will not betting that huge even if my team Greedbaypackers and Miami dolphins will go to superbowl lol

I am glad that $30,000 is not a big deal to you. For some, that money could be the start of a completely new and better way of life. Better luck with your future gambling!

only this time ? what about last time ? gambling is not time dependent . you can won or loose no matter what day or time you are playing  .  you cant also say that 30k usd is not a big deal because damn man that was already a verry huge amount of cash . i can retire and live for a lifetime having that cash but i think i cannot afford to gamble it all  .

I made a small bet on the Rams as well but nothing near your figures OP. It was quite a bad game though, especially the first half. Very bad movement from the Rams and very little running. The inexperience of playing in the Finals was written all over their faces.
Made also a bet but its just a few hundreds which its really frustrating to see how Rams perform. You can really see the choke and yes they had bad movement and less running.
Even watching do tell to myself on what the hell is going on.

30,000 isn't a lot, I'm just mad that Tom Brady won another superbowl while the Rams basically didn't even show up.

WOW I envy you that you can afford to lose that kind of money
and that you are not too bothered about the actual amount rather
that Tom Brady won another superbowl.

Just wondering did you bet against Tom Brady or did you really
think the Rams would win in other words, DId you use your head?

Think you need to grow up dude, there are billionaires everywhere.  A large segment of the population buys mansions and rolls royce cars like it is nothing.  Just because you are living in poverty doesn't mean everyone else is.  If you have just $1billion you can make $60million a year easily off investments doing no work at all which is over $1million a week.

What planet are you living on?

"A large segment" you are dillusional.

Are you living under a rock?  There are places that are filled with billionaires: Dubai, London, Monaco, Los Angeles.  your acting like he is talking about unicorns.  There are millions of millionaires out there as well.

Just because you are not rich doesn't mean there aren't people that are ridiculously wealthy out there.  A lot of hidden wealth as well especially government families and oil arabs.

No, I understand your point and I do realise that there are a lot of
wealthy people but using the phrase "A large segment of the
population" doesn't cut it.

"Just because you are not rich" lol

The large segment of the population are not super wealthy as you
state.

Anyway from the thread it seems that he is ok with the loss, he made
his call and was obviously prepared for the consequences either way.

$30k is not much? I guess you have much money to bet that kind of amount. At least you enjoy what you did even you lost, and not affected by houch was it.

I was thinking the same as you because when someone is very rich, and he spends in the gambling games, the amount will bigger than the other people. His bet amount will be made some people cannot believe that he spend that amount because they only use some money in the gambling games. $30,000 is a lot of money, and I am sure that he still has more million dollars in his account and he still playing gambling because he is like to gamble in the games.

The amount of a single bet may differ from person to person and if we compared it with most gamblers here, $30k is a very huge amount of money. I myself if have the chance to have it, for sure will not risk it at a single bet. $30k can cover my needs for more than a year btw! OP must be a rich person then, that is why he said $30k isn't much.
