What will it take to get back the confidence you lost? Bitcoins hitting 5-digits again? Well, you just got to have patience. If you exit cryptocurrency right now, you not only lost the opportunity to bounce back from your recent setbacks, also the chance to be part of something evolutionary.
You've posted this 6 months ago and bitcoin had its ath last december, so if you didn't believe bitcoin that time then you must be gone crazy when it hit $20k and regretting for not believing bitcoin. And I know you've learned your lesson that time and now you're loving bitcoin with all of your life and understand that bitcoin and alts fluctuates every now and then and it can make you rich in a matter of time and trust.
This is very annoying, but do not be too long to not believe in cryptocurrency, it's your problem how to manage all your money, you get more profit with a clever view of the situation, all also have to own risks and barriers that can break your spirits, I believe that you are someone who always panics and often listen to news media that can change your mindset, make it a lesson lesson do not make you disappointed, I can not restore your trust because it initially depends on your own not to miss the moment moment important.
I believe that after you make this post you have started building confident in it again because bitcoin has prove to be our of the financial instruments. Are you going to lose confident on bitcoin which is going to be the future of money.

Last time I check bitcoin price is still at $8K so I don't know why you guys losing confidence on the market. I would understand if it will go down sub $1K, but from ~$700 January 2017 to $8K this time is still a huge increased that no banks can give you in return.
The problem with you is that you are too much 'caught around the hype' in December 2017. Please understand that the market is based on speculation so as a result it can't go on a continued growth. We should all be thankful at least that the price is still strong despite too many actions for government around the world and FUD's going around.
Losing confidence for my own understanding maybe is product of worries and fear,we can use this worries and fear as a stepping stone to gain more courage to do more analytical research about BTC world,the ups and dumps is just part of it,the whole crypto community holds the future of it,and if our goal here to be an instant billionaire,will,it will positively happen but sometimes we have to apply the virtue of waiting and patience and I think through these we can regain the confidence to BTC.

After months of trading/mining what i learned so far:
* Bch pump, dump which has done for purpose to prove that bitcoin stays the original and the master
* jp morgan (zcash) problem that could make him/them rich by attacking bitcoin with help from media and truing shorting on
* big support at 3000$ which i think its made from money shorted all the way down from 5000$, yes bit coin is unstoppable
* china gov +neo most popular chinese (pump 40$) ahm,sorry dump 17$ after using china ico/exchange threats
than pump again 37$ when the threats gone
*zcash wild ride from 200$ to 400$ than back to 200$ done on purpose someone pumped the price than started selling, the new always come late to cover the fraud. i bet ppl didn't know edward sandosen was talking that zchach is next bitcoin, >>> lie zcash is a fork as it as bch born to feed btc.
*the rush to beat resistance weakly candle (done) and 5000$+ milestone backed by new fork, (yes this time we learn lesson from bch) so waht ? dump everything bch neo eth, and leave ripple ppl think its a company not a decentralized crypto currency. neo went from 38 to 29 in hours when btc need to beat resistance and close weekly candle last friday night, is that a coincidence? no ... no bit coin is the master coin and other coins are nothing if bitcoin fall so dumping other coins to save bit coin is a must, and other coins can be bumped easily later..
conclusion : bitcoin bump*fork*media*dump*support* cycle all done on purpose and it sucks.
even that i see bitcoin rising right now, i lost faith and i feel like i am taking profit from something without value

buying/holding is the best strategy, yes it is the best, but this big whales making big profit, when we holders hold our hope and pray, who assure to us this big whales don't turn away on us.., they are doing it now and they will blow the market if something big happen like gov banning btc /minning.
if you ppl with 1k 10k think your self will be millionaire, this guy who invest millions now will be trillionare ?.. no way the economy of all the world is not like this,

Ok, all coins were pumped, a lot of folks earned huge money, but because it is not possible to rise every time, now it was decided to dump the market. it was happened before and it will be happing in the future. no drama here

losing faith in bitcoin actually happens because of the many gifts of deception and the gift of the hard cup but pay unilaterally. and because of the number of alternative coins. causing prices to rise and fall. though the bitcoin price itself is unpredictable or predictable. sometimes up and down sometimes very drastic. if possible the market price is predictable, this belief will be higher in bitcoin.Bad and terrible experiences you had went through should not be the basis that you will loose confidence with bitcoin. First, inorder to minimize mistakes I think you should learn and understand more about bitcoin and how it works. Because bitcoin is volatile in nature, you must have to consider that when you put up investment, there is already a corresponding risk in it. well please be patient mate, don't lose hope, i think bitcoin is a long term investment and you need not to worry.. there are times that all the market being down for now, but i think that's the movement of the market, sometimes its hard to see that it always moving down fast, but the bottom is the bitcoin will not always be like this.. there you can see the improvement of the price, compare to the past months, or weeks, it was still moving up slowly.. and i think it will soon to going to rise one of this days.. be patient mate..

I made enough money from the previous ATH, to sustain my urge to sell for the next 3 years. You will definitely lose out when scams all your bitcoins because you've worked for a few months and just got lost. and you'll think if you continue to play the bitcoin or you'll stick it out because you did not accumulate it. but if I am? im not going to stop because it's just like living alone there are times when you really fall and hopeless.

Patience is a virtue that requires perseverance that eventually receives rewards. Losing confidence on bitcoin is an insight of losing hopes on what everyones' hoping for. It is true that the price or value of bitcoin is in lower point, but this matter is normal to all forms of investment,whether in the form of stocks, currencies (fiat or virtual) or any other form, who says the there is no risk involve in trading and investing, well what was happening right now is a normal scenario. But then, losing confidence and beliefs on bitcoin will definitely will not earned as well, but it is always one's decision on what he owns because anything happens to his assets he/she will receives the result of it. well, be decisive, make the necessary study and analysis since it is yours and you will benefited if your choice or decision is right.
Absolutely right bro encouraging, that would probably work. For my own opinion, you dont need to be discouraged for btc. Because it is very normal that btc has a low price now adays. Just like last year before it bloom to a high rates it must take to a lower value.
