This is really strange to me, is it possible to hack ones bitcointalk account? Can the hacker used the account successfully? Can it be hacked without verification of email to change password? Just what to be extremely careful so that I can secure my own BTT account since its now very difficult to upgrade ranks here in forum nowadays. Thanks!!!

But I'm wondering when creating a new key pair, will I enter the name and email of the lost account?
Yes, you must create a PGP signed message using your email address below:
[email protected]

I sent the message to theymos but he still did not reply  Sad
Really annoying and I'm getting tired of getting my account back. Sad
Maybe you are interested read the following post:

Sending a signed message to recover your account once, and then resending it a bit later (maybe two weeks later) is sufficient, you do not have to bomb them with daily PMs, they get enough messages as it is.

Keywords there being one PM and two weeks.

I guess you didn't choose the "Receive forum announcements and important notifications by email" option on your profile.
Perhaps the next hope is to create a PGP signed message on your email to reclaim your account.
Hopefully, the email address in the previous post is not changed.

What Operating System are you using right now?

The first step, you must create FingerPrint for your email.
Then create a PublicKey and upload to KeyServer.
Next, create a Sign Message with PGP.
If your email address matches, it will be verified.

Please look at the tutorial I have ever made about PGP/GPG signed message at the following link:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/tutorial-pgpgpg-signed-message-public-key-3221263
(Use Google to translate into your language).

Feel free to ask, if you still have difficulties.
Sorry if I write bad English.

Thank you Husna, your very helpful article I have read through and is proceeding to follow.

I think the account was not locked, and he certainly changed the email, so when I used the password recovery function, I did not receive the message sent to me.

But email address: [email protected] also in that article, it is mine, and i can prove i am the owner of it.
Create proof using PGP/GPG Signed Message for your email address.
Maybe I can help you.

Is that account already locked?
If not locked, there may your email address can be changed with the person who stole your account.
@HusnaQA , First of all, I would like to thank you very much for your support !!!
Can you give me more specific instructions on how to prove my mail address is mine.
I log into my mail account and shoot a picture or what to do ? I do not know how to use PGP / GPG Signed Message.
I think the account was not locked, and he certainly changed the email, so when I used the password recovery function, I did not receive the message sent to me.
I sent a message to Cyrus, but it has been 3 weeks and he has not answered me yet, and yesterday I sent a message to theymos, hoping he would help me.

Thanks.
Is that your wallet address?

Create a signed message to prove ownership of the wallet address.
(You can create Ethereum signed message at here: https://www.myetherwallet.com/signmsg.html)
Then send a message to Cyrus or theymos with proof of your post and a signed message.

No, the address for ETH is that of the person who stole my account, which is a recent post.
And that address : HMfqfTwj6h1TRveN3FE95BKLK5WSMrpgoP is Hotcoin address, it's a dead coin from 2014 Sad
But email address: [email protected] also in that article, it is mine, and i can prove i am the owner of it.

Send one PM to Cyrus. If Cyrus doesn't respond after two weeks, you can try sending a PM to me instead. When sending a PM, use a template like this:

Quote
-----BEGIN BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----
My account has been hacked/lost. Please reset the email to . The current date is .
-----BEGIN SIGNATURE-----

-----END BITCOIN SIGNED MESSAGE-----

Here is the unedited post where I posted that address: ...
OR
I sent that address to someone in a PM with PM ID#...

All required info must be in one PM.

Do not create your temporary account using the same email address you want for the hacked/lost account. No two accounts can have the same email address.

Check out your last registered email , make sure that you've visited within 7 days because you can lock your account immediately so the hacker can't use your account !

Good luck there mate, theymos rarely recover accounts and you must provide a signed message that was associated your account

I heard it will be recover after 6 month++
