Sadly he was become an addict, lost 10 BTC was a huge amount for every gambler IMO. There is no way if OP has become a gambling addict except he must be able to oversee his emotions when gambling. I think the hardest way to become an addict is to oversee emotions/control when he wins gambling and when he continues to lose, even though he already knows and even has a concept when he starts gambling to come out when he wins the bet and goes out and continues to lose, but most of them will carried away by the situation.

Most will, getting to greedy is common with every addicted gamblers, instead of gaining little by little they will continue and lose back whatever the chances that they've got winning a little from their activity, losing this huge amounts needs to be seen with a wide open eyes, gambling can be fun but if you already have a big loss like this you must control or quit right away,.

You will only see the bigger picture after you already suffer from a huge losses.

Losing 10btc is absolutely painful in the ass. If you do not control addiction within yourself, nothing brings good to your life. The more we are greedy for the winnings, the more we lose.
I've been losing but when I think my losses are greater than winnings, I had to stop and refrain myself from gambling. There are so many days to get back what we lose. If we are not lucky that day, then maybe we can gamble for some other time.

Actually, as I play gambling, I do have set my mindset not to aim on having a profit on it instead I just treated it as for fun only. I do not aim that much of winning because experience of playing is what matters most for me. Also, whenever you play gamble, you must be able to accept the fact that there are 2 possibilities that can always come, it is either a win or a loss. That is why I am just placing small bets so that even if I loss, I still can afford accepting my loss because it does not cost that much. We can control ourselves if we don't play a lot of time, with that, you need to gamble a bigger amount of money so you will be contented.

If you weigh how do you play gambling then you will realize what are your failed strategies. Giving up is good if you tend to lose more and more like you lose your whole life. You have to give limit to yourself before playing. Setting goal is also important. If you lose twice than winning then give space to yourself.

Holy moly, I guess he earnt big lost big but the obvious thing to do there is just bet smaller. If its not making you money then just half your bet at least, if you are on a winning streak then fair enough and most of the money will come from your winnings and you can take off the original gambled money.
